Wonder is a game that some people wrote off as nothing more than a run-of-the-mill 2.5D platformer, with some people feeling like it simply wouldn’t do enough after the disappointment players faced with the other games in the series. So, fans were glad to see that Super Mario Bros. Wonder innovated the series formula in a way that pleased many. Overcooked is a fantastic indie game with a simple gameplay loop that gets progressively more difficult as the game progresses, and Overcooked 2 offers more of the same. It’s worth noting, though, that both of the Overcooked games are among the hardest co-op games ever, not because of the complexity but because of the amount of frustration they can cause.

Overcooked is a fun choice for parents and their kids to play together, but the adults will need extreme patience when things start to go wrong, and they definitely will.
