The Last of Us was a mighty success, smashing through everyone’s expectations and resulting in a true masterpiece. In a world where a fungal parasite transformed many humans into zombie-like creatures, leading to the collapse of society, humans have hunkered down in settlements to try and find something resembling a life. A glimpse of hope is seen in Ellie, a young girl who seems to be immune to the infection, and with her, it may be possible to synthesize a cure.

Their journey to deliver her to the doctors capable of creating a vaccine is a long and arduous one that will mean traversing through some truly dangerous locations inhabited by the infected creatures known as Clickers. These mushroom people garner their name from the clicking sounds they emit, which they use as a form of echolocation, as their disfigurement renders them blind and terrifying to behold. If the players are unlucky enough to be grappled by one of these creatures, they may soon join them in death.
