Key Takeaways

  • Fortnite continues to collaborate with Disney, so expect more Disney hero skins in the game.
  • Classic Disney heroes like Aladdin, Peter Pan, Hercules, and Tarzan could make an appearance.
  • Characters like The Genie and The Beast offer unique designs and abilities for Fortnite players to enjoy.

Everybody needs a hero, and as Fortnite continues its collaboration with Disney, more skins will inevitably debut in the Battle Royale and metaverse content available. With an abundance of Disney villains coming in, there also needs to be a set of Disney heroes to debut in Fortnite, and plenty of icons have deserved mention over the years.

Disney heroes are always the brightest and most morally justified of the bunch, and the most classic Disney movies feature heroes that definitely deserve to have a fanbase reignited after all these years by bringing their charming faces into the Fortnite Item Shop.

7 Aladdin

The Street Rat Turned Courageous Prince

  • Debuted in: Aladdin (1992)

The titular protagonist of his own movie, Aladdin may have once been seen as a street rat from the city of Agrabah, but now through his charm and heroic selflessness, he has become the protector and romantic interest of Princess Jasmine. Aladdin is experienced in sneaking and fighting through his time of survival in Argrabah, making him a solid pick for Fortnite.

Aladdin could also have an easily established set of cosmetics, as the magic lamp would make for a great pickaxe, and the flying carpet makes for a genius glider, and that’s not even to mention how his monkey sidekick, Abu, could be adorable back bling.

6 Peter Pan

Neverland’s Courageous and Egotistical Defender

  • Debuted in: Peter Pan (1953)

A child of Neverland who has an ego as big as his heart, Peter Pan fights for the Lost Boys and the kids that never grow up, and his whimsy and powers of flight are aided by that of the fairy Tinker Bell. Peter Pan is the adversary of Captain Hook, a villain who has already been announced for Fortnite, so his heroic rival deserves to join in the fun and torment of Hook and his fear of crocodiles.

Peter Pan’s heroics, flight abilities, and courage deserve to join the Fortnite fight, and playing as this character might unlock many wonders and childhood memories for a lot of Disney fans who grew up, all while Peter Pan remains a child.

5 The Genie

Charismatic and Hillarious with Infinite Power

  • Debuted in: Aladdin (1992)

There is perhaps no character in Disney’s library that is larger than life than the Genie, a magical wonder that has been trapped in his lamp for thousands of years. The Genie was a slave to those who demanded their wishes granted, but now as a free person, the Genie is able to do whatever he pleases, and since he is no stranger to pop culture references, perhaps what he pleases is to play Fortnite.

The Genie has an iconic character design, and his abilities to shapeshift, grant wishes and transcend space and time might be a tad overpowered for Fortnite, but he can probably shut his powers down to make things fair on the competition.

4 Hercules

The Brave Son of Zeus

  • Debuted in: Hercules (1997)

A hero for the ages, Hercules is someone who should have debuted in Fortnite with Chapter 5 Season 2’s Greek Mythology, but there is still hope for him to arrive with the recent Disney and Fortnite crossovers. Hercules is heroic and charming, and someone who just wants to do the right thing by battling monsters, saving damsels, and now getting Victory Royales.

Hercules is strong and stoic, and his self-sacrifice against Hades and the forces of evil is what makes him stand out amongst the rest. Hercules easily deserves a spot as Disney’s best hero, and whilst he might not know what a gun is, he can quickly learn in Fortnite’s loop.

3 Tarzan

The Ape Man Who Can Climb and Crank 90s

  • Debuted in: Tarzan (1999)

The ape-man himself, Tarzan may have been raised by a colony of gorillas, but he’s still human and can learn how to become a member of a higher society thanks to Jane Porter. Tarzan’s animal side makes him extremely nimble and talented at survival, and if anyone is going to get a victory royale, it’s going to be the ape-man, Tarzan.

Tarzan doesn’t have much familiarity with social norms, especially when it comes to guns, but he can definitely learn, and probably should if he wants to win a game of Fortnite. Tarzan could easily join the roster of characters, and his design is fun enough to make for an interesting skin and art style.

2 The Beast

A Monster With Style

  • Debuted in: Beauty and the Beast (1991)

Whilst underneath the Beast’s fur is the charming Prince Adam, the curse placed upon his selfishness makes him a hideous creature that must remain in darkness within his castle. The Beast looks cool, despite the shame he shares for his appearance. As a monster, the Beast could make for a fun character to play as in Fortnite, especially alongside other creatures.

The Beast wouldn’t be the first monster in Fortnite, and to see this hairy and hulking beast in Fortnite would be pretty fun, especially since nobody would look at Beauty and the Beast and think that this particular romanticized monster should be cranking 90s.

1 Goofy

One of Mickey Mouse’s Best and Happiest Friends

  • Debuted in: Mickey’s Revue (1932)

Whilst Mickey Mouse himself would be a fun choice, his height wouldn’t exactly work in Fortnite. Goofy on the other hand? He’s the perfect character for it. His tall proportions, flappy ears, and goofy giggle make him an interesting choice for Fortnite, and one that could be both cute and terrifying.

The idea of Goofy chasing down enemies whilst holding a shotgun is pretty funny, but it strangely works, and it’s definitely something that could actually happen in the future. Having Goofy join Fortnite would be a gateway for other Disney characters.
