London, July 2025: This summer, London’s most mind-bending attraction is turning up the volume. Twist Museum, the Oxford Street sensation where art, science and illusion collide, is inviting curious Londoners and adventurous tourists to lose themselves in a season of immersive fun.

Running from 19 July–31 August, Curious Minds Festival is a brand-new cultural programme that flips the script on the traditional museum experience. Think interactive workshops, thought-provoking installations, and adults-only evening takeovers that blend education with pure entertainment. Expect a TikTok content goldmine and a world of wonder that’s perfect for families, creators, and culture-hungry Londoners.

A programme designed to spark curiosity…

Curious Minds Festival explores a different theme each week, from art and science to music, magic and mindfulness, with family-friendly daytime sessions to twilight moments built for grown-ups who want to explore after hours.

Magic Week (19–27 July)

Prepare to be spellbound! Dive into a world of illusion, mystery, and mesmerising performances featuring the legendary Marvin’s Magic and mind-bending feats from The Mentalist.

Daytime: Dazzling daytime magic and interactive trickery for all ages.

Twilight Thursday: An enchanting evening of stagecraft and sleight of hand on Oxford Street.

Science Week (28 July – 3 August)

Boom! Bang! Brilliant! Discover the explosive side of science with thrilling experiments and “Einstein-approved” shows that spark curiosity and wow the senses.

Daytime: Mind-blowing science shows and hands-on fun with Einstein Entertainers.

Twilight Thursday: Adult-only science with a playful twist—experiments, laughs, and learning after hours.

Art Week (4–10 August)

Get ready to colour outside the lines! Create art that will make you question your reality.

Daytime: Create art that will make you question your reality. Step into optical illusions and hands-on fun with Art Enthusiasts.

Twilight Thursday: Let the illusions spark your imagination as you sketch, smudge, and create with charcoal & bread — yes, really! Perfect for curious beginners or confident creatives.

Mindfulness Week (11–17 August)

Find your calm and centre your soul. A week of peaceful play and soothing soundscapes
designed to relax curious minds.

Daytime: Mindful movement sessions for kids with the serene Bloom Child.

Twilight Thursday: Tune into tranquillity with Natural Symphony—an award-winning sound and light artist who uses the natural bio-rhythms of plants and trees to create live electronic music
and immersive and interactive art.

Music Week (18–24 August)

Feel the rhythm, find the beat! From toe-tapping tunes to joyful jams, this week is all about sound, movement, and melody.

Daytime: Get ready to turn up the volume with high-energy Musical Glow Parties. Expect dancing, musical games, and glowing fun that sparks creativity and joy.

Twilight Thursday: Come join us at Twist Museum for a unique interactive music journey around the capital as London music festival SHAKE THE HIGH ROAD guides you through the music moments that shaped the city, all while experiencing a tasting menu of wonderful handpicked local beers.

Creativity Week (25–31 August)

Lights, camera, imagination! Unlock your inner filmmaker with hands-on stop-motion animation classes for budding artists of all ages, hosted by Art Play.

Daytime: Kid-friendly stop-motion animation workshops.

Twilight Thursday: Adults get creative after work with cinematic stop-motion sessions.

Daytime: Interactive kids’ workshops

  • Daily at 10.30 am, 12.00 pm, 1.30 pm and 3.00 pm shows, check the schedule here.
  • From £9pp as an add-on to general museum entry. Each session is limited in capacity, making for an up-close, interactive experience. Kids will get hands-on with everything from art classes and slow-mo animation to mindful movement and
    music.

Twilight Thursdays @ Twist: adults-only after hours

  • Every Thursday, 7.00 pm – 10 pm
  • From £12.50 in addition to general museum entry. For the first time ever, Twist opens its doors after dark, transforming into an after-hours playground for grown-ups. Each week brings a new immersive theme—from live art workshops and mind-blowing science shows to magical masterclasses and unforgettable musical moments.To elevate the experience, a curated selection of alcoholic and soft drinks will be available to purchase, letting you sip while you soak up the fun.
