11 RAI K-84 (Reactorniy Avtomat-Izluchatel Kuhlklay-84)
A Modified AK-47 That Acts Like A Machine Gun Version Of The Ray Gun
- Debut Game: Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
- Acquired By: Spending 950 Points on the Mystery Box
- Fire Modes: Automatic, Semi-Automatic
- Magazine Size: 30 rounds
- Maximum Ammunition: 300
Firebase Z introduced players to a brand-new Wonder Weapon, a heavily modified AK-47 that provides players with the kick and plasma of a Ray Gun but chambered in a machine gun. The energy fired from the RAI K-84 is purple Aetherium, which burns and singes targets, easily taking out normal zombies that won’t stop running, but players might have a harder time with boss enemies since there’s limited splash damage from this Wonder Weapon.
The RAI K-84 features a GP-6K2 grenade launcher attachment, which shoots orbs from the gun. Beaming this orb with continuous firepower causes it to explode, destroying zombies within the area. It’s a decent Wonder Weapon, and for those who like holding the trigger without worrying about explosive knockback, enjoy the RAI K-84.
10 Ray Gun
A Devastatingly Powerful Weapon With Explosive Splash Damage
- Debut Game: Call of Duty: World At War
- Acquired By: Spending 950 Points on the Mystery Box
- Fire Modes: Automatic
- Magazine Size: 20 rounds
- Maximum Ammunition: 240
Everyone who has tried Call of Duty Zombies knows of the Ray Gun, the eternal weapon of the series that refuses to let up. Players adore the Ray Gun, and it should be worshipped as one of the best weapons in Call of Duty Zombies for its power and design. Players can pick this up in nearly every COD Zombies title, and its light design means players can run around and train up zombies without having to worry about weight restrictions from heavier weapons.
The Ray Gun features a great rate of fire, only extended by the best perk, Double Tap. Whilst the Ray Gun is capable of taking out hordes of undead thanks to the splash damage, that damage can also be lethal to players, so it’s best to shoot at further distances so as to not end up downed and in need of a revive with the Ray Gun in hand.
9 Wunderwaffe DG-2
A Lightning Gun That Chains Zombies In A Deadly Electric Shock
- Debut Game: Call of Duty: World at War
- Acquired By: Spending 950 Points at the Mystery Box
- Fire Modes: Automatic
- Magazine Size: 3 rounds
- Maximum Ammunition: 18
The Wunderwaffe DG-2 is a sought-after Wonder Weapon, where only one player in the lobby can have one, which makes sense, considering its grand power. The Wunderwaffe is great for intense situations, as firing one shot will chain a maximum of ten zombies, guaranteeing they stop in their tracks and explode from the electrifying death that awaits them due to the high voltage of the weapon itself.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Best Zombie Maps, Ranked
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 features some of the series’ best Zombie maps, but with over 14 maps, only some can be the very best.
The Wunderwaffe might feel rather heavy, and its grand range means players can fire up close and from long range. Being able to chain zombies in a violent and electrified death makes the Wunderwaffe great for dealing with zombie trains and overwhelming odds, especially when it stuns zombies for a moment, making it a great room-killing weapon.
8 Monkey Bomb
An Explosive Tactical Grenade That Demands Zombie Attention
- Debut Game: Call of Duty: World at War
- Acquired By: Spending 950 Points at the Mystery Box
- Fire Modes: Thrown
- Magazine Size: 1
- Maximum Ammunition: 3
The wonderful Cymbal Monkey is a staple of Call of Duty Zombies and is definitely a must-have tactical Wonder Weapon, used for situations where the player is overwhelmed and needs a breather. The Monkey Bomb will be thrown, and all zombies will ignore any humans to go after it. They will stand there and listen to the Monkey Bomb smash its cymbals together, until it explodes, causing great damage and even death to zombies that are within the vicinity.
With 3 Monkey Bombs, players have plenty of opportunity to use them before a Max Ammo drop is found, and they should be used purely for tactical situations, like if they are cornered, or a team member needs reviving. They’re a classic Wonder Weapon, and easily a must-have for every map.
7 Thundergun
A Large Cannon That Shoots Powerful Compressed Air
- Debut Game: Call of Duty: Black Ops
- Acquired By: Spending 950 Points at the Mystery Box
- Fire Modes: Semi-Automatic
- Magazine Size: 2 rounds
- Maximum Ammunition: 14
A hip-firing beast, if there’s any weapon capable of stopping zombies from overrunning the player and causing them to go down, it’s the Thundergun. This Wonder Weapon blasts enemies, instantly sending them flying, and more often than not, killing them from the sheer impact of the blast. A highly compressed air gun, the Thundergun is like a bazooka that shoots the breath of God and can aid in every situational encounter.
The Thundergun can even take on miniboss enemies, easily taking them out with a mere single blast. However, the ammo count is limited, so it’s best to conserve the Thundergun for large hordes of enemies that need blasting back. It’s a great Wonder Weapon, but its close range and limited ammo make it a perfect backup only.
6 Gersh Device
A Portable Black Hole That Eats Zombies & Can Be Used As A Portal
- Debut Game: Call of Duty: Black Ops
- Acquired By: Spending 950 Points at the Mystery Box
- Fire Modes: Thrown
- Magazine Size: 1
- Maximum Ammunition: 3
Throwing a Gersh Device is perfect for players in need of a breather. The Gersh Device lasts a fairly long time, and standing near it will have enemies sucked into the portal, and instantly killed. It’s stronger than a Monkey Bomb, as there’s no way for zombies to avoid being pulled in and vaporized. If the hordes of zombies are still overwhelming, players can just jump into the Gersh Device themselves.
Call of Duty: 13 Hardest Zombies Maps
These are some of the hardest zombie maps in the Call of Duty franchise.
Jumping into this portal will see them teleport to a different area of the map, completely at random. This can help players avoid tight spots, and even save a life or two. It’s one of the best Wonder Weapons for the tactical grenade slot, although it’s not on many maps across the series.
5 Wave Gun
Dual-Wield Wonder Weapons That Can Zap & Pop Targets
- Debut Game: Call of Duty: Black Ops
- Acquired By: Spending 950 Points at the Mystery Box
- Fire Modes: Semi-Automatic
- Magazine Size: 8×2
- Maximum Ammunition: 80
The Wave Gun is one of the weirder Wonder Weapons in the series, but by no means does that mean it isn’t worth obtaining. The Wave Gun can be split in two and re-combined thanks to pressing Right on the D-Pad for controllers, or 5 on a Keyboard. Dual-wielding the Wave Gun presents players with two Zap Guns, which will electrify each target, but the limited ammo count means players can’t confidently attack every foe that comes to show face and fang.
If dual-wielding isn’t to the style of players, then they can combine the two to create the Wave Gun, which, when shot, will cause zombies to bloat and expand like balloons, until they eventually pop under the pressure. It’s an odd way to kill a zombie, but certainly effective, albeit, limited in both range and splash.
4 Blundergat
A Devastatingly Powerful Shotgun
- Debut Game: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
- Acquired By: Spending 950 Points at the Mystery Box
- Fire Modes: Single-Shot
- Magazine Size: 1
- Maximum Ammunition: 61
A powerful shotgun, the Bludergat comes from one of the best Call of Duty Zombies maps, Mob of the Dead. This vicious weapon is capable of killing hordes of zombies with a single shot, as well as the violent Warden, Brutus. The Blundergat may not seem that impressive thanks to its single-shot fire, but that can be upgraded to semi-automatic, as well as a variety of different methods of attack thanks to its variations through building and upgrading.
Through Pack-a-Punch, players can upgrade the Blundergat, but players can also get their hands on the Acid Gat and Magmagat, which venture into different territories of attack. All of these variants are great to use, and enemies should fear the heavy potential of this weapon.
3 Ray Gun Mark 2
A 3-Round Burst Ray Gun Without Self-Harming Splash Damage
- Debut Game: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
- Acquired By: Spending 950 Points at the Mystery Box
- Fire Modes: 3-Round Burst
- Magazine Size: 21
- Maximum Ammunition: 183
Bigger and better than the original Ray Gun, The Mark 2 is an impressive piece of weaponry, but also rare, since the obtaining rate from the Mystery Box is 1~5%. The Ray Gun Mark 2 has incredible penetration prowess, which can easily tear through hordes of enemies in a line with a simple tap of the 3-round burst. The Ray Gun Mark 2 is also an upgrade from the original, as although there’s a dash of splash damage, it’s harmless to players wielding it.
The burst fire is remarkably fast, especially with Double Tap. The headshot damage of the Ray Gun Mark 2 is also incredible, which is great, considering the original doesn’t even have headshot damage multipliers. A headshot will easily kill enemies nearly instantaneously, and that’s not even to mention the Pack-A-Punch potential.

A unique Wonder Weapon, due to the fact that it needs to be crafted through a relatively easy quest in the Origins map, the Elemental Staffs exhibit great power, shifting the elements to allow each player a different type of staff, all with unique and extreme damage capabilities, although, some may prefer some staffs to others.
Each staff can cause a mass amount of damage thanks to their close-range hits and blasts, the Elemental Staffs are favorite Wonder Weapons, unlocking grand potential in unique weapons that don’t exactly rely on a magazine or iron sight to get the job done.
1 Wrath Of The Ancients
A Powerful Set Of Elemental Bows
- Debut Game: Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
- Acquired By: Building Within The ‘Der Eisendrache’ Map

Heading to the snowy castle of Der Eisendrache, players will be able to embark on some complex mini-quests to unlock the Wrath of the Ancients, four unique bows with unique elemental capabilities. They’re much like the staffs from Origins, but with range, and even less ammo. Yet, ammo won’t be an issue, as they are capable of destroying hordes of enemies with a single arrow.
Bows like the Wolf Bow and the Storm Bow are capable of attacking hordes, whilst ignoring the wielder, allowing for them to pass without worry of splash damage. These bows can chip away at zombie health, although they aren’t the best against the dreaded miniboss enemies. Yet, they are a must-have for the map due to their ability to conquer hordes.
Call of Duty Zombies Equipment Tier List
Just like with the numerous Wonder Weapons available in Call of Duty Zombies, the many pieces of equipment within the mode vary in quality.
