- Stratagems like the MG-101 Heavy Machine Gun and LAS-99 Quasar Cannon have unique functions in Helldivers 2.
Helldivers 2 players are asking Arrowhead to make the Super Earth flag a support stratagem that boosts the morale of nearby allies. Stratagems are the pinnacles of character loadouts in Helldivers 2, with which players can turn the tides in their favor. Each of them has a unique function; for instance, Eagle Cluster Bomb performs explosive attacks that clear hordes of enemies, while EMS Mortar Sentry stuns them for a limited time.
Helldivers 2 has proven to be a huge hit, both on PC and PS5. Arrowhead’s top-down shooter far exceeded expectations, attaining an all-time peak of 458,709 concurrent players on Steam and selling about eight million copies. It has become PlayStation’s biggest launch on PC, overtaking some first-party games like God of War and Horizon: Forbidden West. Besides, Helldivers 2 has received constant content updates and Warbonds, which helped the game keep its player base engaged.
Helldivers 2 Fan Builds Incredibly Realistic Cosplay
A member of the Helldivers 2 community is going viral after sharing photos of their incredibly detailed and realistic cosplay online.
Many Helldivers 2 players on Reddit called the developers to make the Super Earth flag a stratagem they can obtain with Requisition Slips. They have come up with unique ideas, claiming it would be a great ordinance that boosts the morale and stats of nearby allies. If the Super Earth flag was a stratagem, it should provide allies with temporary boosts and be planted into the ground.
One player shared a clever idea for the Super Earth flag stratagem, claiming it should be available to all allies by default, like Helldivers 2‘s Reinforce. Some also suggested the developers bring a flag backpack they can use to boost their allies’ intimidation.
Helldivers 2’s Stratagems Are An Important Part of Character Loadouts
Helldivers 2‘s stratagems, otherwise known as ordinances, are divided into three categories: Support, Offensive, and Defensive. Picking up the right ordinance is important, with some not fitting for certain missions in the game. For example, the ARC 3 Tesla Power may not be a viable choice for defense missions because it deals damage to both enemies and nearby allies and causes accidental deaths. One thing to note is that Helldivers 2 players can use stratagems intermittently due to their cooldown.
Recently, Helldivers 2 has introduced two new stratagems, MG-101 Heavy Machine Gun and LAS-99 Quasar Cannon, which have their own function. The Heavy Machine Gun, as its name implies, is a powerful weapon with intense recoil and damage. Players can add it to their loadouts by spending 6,000 Requisition Slips. The Quasar Cannon, on the other hand, is also a heavy weapon capable of piercing through any enemy armor. This laser cannon performs precise shots and destroys Automaton fabricators efficiently.
