The advent of Final Fantasy 7 Remake was a long time coming, with the announcement of this title’s release blowing everyone’s minds when it was revealed at E3. The game was released to positive reviews across the board, with people loving the modern take on Final Fantasy 7’s storyline, even if some changes were criticized by players at the same time. However, while the game is certainly a lot of fun, players who want to achieve 100% completion will find themselves questioning their life decisions after a point.
There are simply too many things that players need to do to achieve this accomplishment, such as getting every Materia in the game, and taking out the numerous additional bosses that are as tough as they come. Surprisingly, the most tedious act that players must complete is getting every character’s outfit, which may require players to repeat chapters and go through the slow portions of the game over and over again until they finally achieve this goal.

A Guide Is Absolutely Necessary To Max Out Confidants And Beat Additional Bosses

Players of Persona 3 Portable are well aware of just how much of a chore it is to try and max out Social Links without a guide.
To make things even more tedious, Persona 3 Portable features a beloved female protagonist option that engages in tougher battles and new Social Links as well. If players really wanted go through their first playthrough with each protagonist blind, then they would potentially have to play through this title a total of four times to get 100% completion, which can make for a ridiculously lengthy playthrough.

Aside from the ridiculously challenging superboss, which pretty much mandates that players follow a certain build to get through both phases of the battle by the skin of their teeth, there are also many secrets in Octopath Traveler that will be very hard to find without a guide. Thankfully, Octopath Traveler 2 was an improvement in every department, including this one, making it a much easier title to 100% complete without facing any problems in the process.

1 Final Fantasy 10
Maxing Out The Sphere Grid, Beating Penance, And Completing The Minigames Is A Nightmare
Final Fantasy 10
- Released
- December 17, 2001
- Genre(s)
- JRPG
Final Fantasy 10 was arguably the last classic Final Fantasy title before the series started to full-on experiment with its core mechanics, shifting away from turn-based gameplay. The game deftly removes the concept of an overworld, letting players explore curated zones that they must revisit to complete certain minigames and upgrade every character’s Ultimate Weapon.
Along with this, players must also deck out their character with the best abilities to stand a chance against the Dark Aeons, with most people considering the act of maxing out the Sphere Grid for every character downright necessary for players to stand a chance against Penance, one of the toughest superbosses in Final Fantasy history. All of these actions take a lot of time, and a lot of players may not have the patience to attain 100% completion in this game.
