It was applauded for its immersive mechanics and world, which has quickly become what Rockstar is well-known for.

Often considered to be one of the best video games ever made, it’s a technical feat, with epic environmental design, outstanding voice-acting, and beautiful graphics. 2 Grand Theft Auto 4

Metascore: 98

When it comes to the PlayStation 3, there are certain games that instantly spring to mind, and one of those will always be Rockstar’s hit series Grand Theft Auto. The longevity of the console is evidenced by the series, since Grand Theft Auto 4 was released towards the beginning of the console’s life, and Grand Theft Auto 5 was released towards the end.

Sitting at the top of GTA’s critically acclaimed list is Grand Theft Auto 4, a story of love, betrayal, and ruthlessness to rival all others. It follows Niko Belic, a questionable protagonist, as he starts a new life in Liberty City on a mission for revenge. This installment was thought to be deeper and more substantial than its predecessors and provided a fresh take on the series without losing the chaotic spirit that makes it so iconic. It’s a feat of world-building, story, and pure, uninhibited, intrusive thoughts.
