Lies of P has tons of great weapons waiting to be discovered and used on the many dangerous enemies in Krat. But while all armaments in the game can be wielded, some of them will have players struggling to get familiar with their particular methods during combat scenarios.
The following weapons and special weapons demand their players spend time learning all their tricks to get the most out of them during skirmishes and boss fights. Each weapon listed is from their standard build and not the assembled or disassembled versions: normal weapons and special weapons that have their corresponding stock Blades and Handles.
8 Big Pipe Wrench
An Excellent Blunt-Type Motivity Weapon
Weapon Type |
Large Blunt |
Weight |
23.8 |
Physical ATK |
156 + 119 |
The Big Pipe Wrench is one of the best Motivity weapons in Lies of P. This weapon can be acquired in the center of the Venigni Works stage. As a Blunt-type weapon, what it lacks in Slashing and Stabbing power, it more than makes up for with Striking power.
One of the major challenges for mastering this weapon is its slow attack rate and utilizing its Fable Arts. The Big Pipe Wrench weighs a lot, especially when players acquire this weapon. Its swings hit hard, but players need to get the hang of the timing of such blows for maximum damage. Its Fable Art grants P the ability to absorb one enemy attack while charging his strike. Utilizing this is essential, especially during boss fights.
7 Pistol Rock Drill
Slow Yet Fun Motivity Weapon
Weapon Type |
Dagger |
Weight |
18.9 |
Physical ATK |
105 |
The Pistol Rock Drill is a fun Motivity weapon that has a unique moveset. Unlike other heavy weapons that take a while to swing, this weapon lets P Stab enemies at a decent rate and distance while retaining the same damage one would expect from Motivity weapons.
Its Charge Attack has P wielding it like a jackhammer: pointing the Drill blade at enemies will drill them for tons of damage. However, using this attack can fully consume P’s stamina if not properly managed. In some boss fights, landing the Charge Attack can be tricky because their attacks can easily interrupt P from pointing the Drill at them.
6 Master Chef’s Knife
A Practice In Stamina Management
Weapon Type |
Dagger |
Weight |
7.0 |
Physical ATK |
88 |
Daggers often exchange range and attack power for attack speed. The Master Chef’s Knife is one such weapon. Its moveset consists of upwards and downward Slashes which makes it a good weapon in tight spaces.
That said, players need to be on top of their Stamina management since this weapon can leave P out of Stamina due to players trying to land as many hits with it as possible. Even with its Conserve Energy Fable Art activated, P’s Stamina can get easily depleted if players keep spamming their attacks with reckless abandon.
5 Circular Electric Chainsaw
A Weapon That Can Electrify, But Has A Long Wind Up
Weapon Type |
Blunt |
Weight |
18.6 |
Physical ATK |
68+33 |
The Circular Electric Chainsaw is a Blunt-type weapon that scales well with advanced stats. This is due primarily to its Electric Blitz elemental damage type that can decimate Puppet-type enemies in just a couple of swings.
While it does give P tremendous range, this weapon is rather heavy and has a slow wind-up to get its hits in. This does perform alright against bigger enemy types, but when dealing with faster ones, its sluggish tendency needs to be taken into consideration before wailing at targets.
4 Frozen Feast
Transform Special Weapon That Speeds Up Slashes
Weapon Type |
Greatsword |
Weight |
31.1 |
Physical ATK |
167 |
Frozen Feast is a Greatsword-type Special Weapon that has a unique Fable Art in Liberate. Once players activate Liberate, Frozen Feast breaks its shell, revealing a crystal-like blade, and increases P’s attack speed for a short duration. Hitting enemies with a Liberated Frozen Feast will stack its Attack Speed increase buff up to 5 seconds.
As with Motivity weapons, getting the hang of Frozen Feast’s slow swings is paramount to master this Special Weapon. One way to get around this is to activate Liberate as soon as it’s available: once it’s activated, smack as many enemies as possible to prolong the Attack Speed.
3 Uroboros’s Eye
Saw-Blade That Can Be Shot At Enemies
Weapon Type |
Sword |
Weight |
16.5 |
Physical ATK |
124 |
After beating Laxasia, the Complete, players are allowed to exchange the Sad Zealot’s Ergo for the Uroboros’s Eye. This Special Weapon has a curious moveset: it’s categorized as a Sword, and while its Light and Charged Attacks are decently-angled slashes, its odd shape makes it one of the shorter-ranged Swords.
However, its Fable Arts allow players to shoot the spinning blade over a set distance, and it returns like a boomerang for massive damage. Making this hit consistently takes a lot of practice since its homing is somewhat okay, but it leaves P vulnerable against enemy attacks if he holds onto the Fable Art for too long.
2 Golden Lie
A Well-Balanced Staff
Weapon Type |
Blunt |
Weight |
12.3 |
Physical ATK |
94 |
One of the rewards for running a Lie playthrough in Lies of P is the Golden Lie. This Blunt-type staff is an excellent Balance weapon as it scaled in both Motivity and Technique. Golden Lie can be upgraded, but players will have to decide whether to make it scale better with Motivity or Technique.
The Golden Lie’s Normal and Charged Attacks deal good damage, based on the P’s Technique and Motivity Stats, but what makes this weapon hard to master is managing its durability. This weapon will get beaten up during fights, and players have to note when to use their grindstone to repair its durability. In boss fights, this might get frustrating since P usually has little breathing room between clashes.
1 Two Dragons Sword
A Samurai Blade In A Western World
Weapon Type |
Sword |
Weight |
12.9 |
Physical ATK |
107 |
Acquired after defeating the Puppet-Devouring Green Monster and exchanging its Ergo to Alidoro, the Two Dragon Sword is arguably the best Technique Sword in the game. While it boasts great Light Attacks and range for a sword, mastering its Charged Heavy Attack mechanic is challenging but essential.
The start-up animation of its Charged Heavy Attack has P swinging the sword around him, ending with a flash and a pinging sound. Any opponent that strikes P during the flash and ping segment will get Perfect Guarded, and P can immediately riposte with a Charged Heavy Attack. Getting the most out of this weapon means learning the attack patterns of enemies, and nailing the timing of the Heavy Charge Attack to inflict massive damage onto them. Even bosses’ Fury Attacks can be Perfect Guarded by the Twin Dragon Sword’s Heavy Charge Attack, but players need to be frame-perfect to execute such a counterattack.
