The First Descendant has a lot of items players can grab from ammo to weapons to gear. Weapons can be augmented with gear called Modules. There are Modules for specific weapon types, like Assault Rifles or Shotguns, and then there are universal Modules for all guns.

Here is every Descendant in NEXON’s third-person looter shooter, The First Descendant.
Heroes in The First Descendant, referred to as Descendants, can also equip Modules. Module stats are randomized just like weapons and other gear and they can be obtained from quests, boss battles, chests, and so on. It’s a common trope in looter shooters, so let’s go through some early weapon Module types to look out for.
8 Better Concentration
Increases Critical Attack Power
Better Concentration can increase the power of critical hits if they land in the game. Like all Modules for guns, Better Concentration comes in many forms to fit the needs of all bullet types including General Rounds which is what this example represents. This example also shows that damage will increase by 19% which is a significant chunk for the early game. A good Module to combine this with is called Better Insight which can increase the chance of actually getting a critical hit. Finding these two Modules that can be equipped to a Scout Rifle or Sniper Rifle in The First Descendant would be good.
7 Chill Enhancement
Adds Ice Damage To Bullets
Several elemental enhancements can be equipped to guns via Modules. Chill Enhancement is one example that will add ice damage to a bullet based on a small percentage of damage. This Module, for example, will add 8% of ice damage based on the full amount. Other elemental Modules include Toxic Enhancement, Fire Enhancement, and Electric Enhancement. This would be a good Module to give Viessa as she already has ice powers in The First Descendant furthering her chilly combos.
6 Expand Weapon Charge
Load More Bullets
Machine Guns typically have the most ammo out of any gun in The First Descendant which is the same for most shooters. Shotguns then have smaller amounts but there is a way to increase magazine sizes via Modules like Expand Weapon Charge.

Void Fusion Reactors can yield some good loot in The First Descendant, but you’ll need a bunch of Void Shards first. Here’s how to get some.
This example can increase the bullet chamber by 12% but that is on the low end of the table. Bigger magazines are good for long, drawn-out gun battles wherein victory is always close at hand. The worst part of any shooter is running out of bullets and then dying because of it.
5 Hawk-Eye
Increases Accuracy
Hawk-Eye is another Module that will help the sniper-enthused players out there. It will increase the accuracy of the equipped weapon and this example will do it by 11%. There is another Module that can combo well with Hawk-Eye called Fire Rate Up. The name may be obvious for some but it will increase how fast players can pop off bullets. Scout Rifles can typically fire pretty fast already but Sniper Rifles can’t. That’s why Fire Rate Up would be good for a Sniper Rifle at least and Hawk-Eye wouldn’t be bad to tag on too.
4 Recycling Genius
Reload Faster
Expand Weapon Charge can increase the size of magazines for guns while Recycling Genius will increase how fast players can reload. This example will do it 8% faster but there are better versions of this Module. Shotguns typically load slowly in shooters which is why Recycling Genius would be good for it in The First Descendant. Hand Cannons, another powerful weapon, also load kind of slowly without enhancements. Combined with Expand Weapon Charge, players can rule the battlefield.
3 Rifling Enforcement
Increases Basic Attack Power
Rifling Enforcement is a basic enhancement for any action RPG. It will increase bullet damage at its core and this example will increase it by 12%. It’s a good Module for any gun in the game that can support it, especially for lower-tier weapons like Handguns that have lower attack power on the regular.

The First Descendant: How To Get Paint
Paint is used to put a little color in your character’s custom drip in The First Descendant. Here’s how you can get some for yourself.
Putting it on bigger weapons like Launchers is good too which is a weapon that can target multiple enemies on the battlefield. One of the best feelings in an RPG is seeing numbers go up and that applies well to the Rifling Enforcement Module in The First Descendant.
2 Vibration Absorption
Reduce Recoil
It’s fun to shoot guns in video games but realistically it would be more of a hassle to shoot some of these weapons. For example, Hand Cannons in The First Descendant deal a great amount of damage which would practically tear someone’s arm off in real life. There is still a kickback on most Hand Cannons in The First Descendant but there is a way to reduce recoil via the Vibration Absorption Module. This example can decrease the recoil by 11%. The less recoil a gun has, the faster players can shoot it.
1 Weak Point Sight
Deal More Damage To Weak Points
One of the coolest features in The First Descendant is the boss fights against Colossi. These bosses can be fought repeatedly on the world map to get good loot and they are large in scale like in Shadow of the Colossus. On each boss’ page is a list of weak points to look out for which players should study especially if they have the Weak Point Sight Module equipped to a gun. This Module will increase damage to weak points and this example does it by 9%. For example, the first boss, Grave Walker, has several weak points including cylinders that come out of its legs occasionally.
