Recently, Overwatch 2 rolled out a huge balance patch that buffed every tank in the game. Overwatch 2 Made Secret Buff to Orisa That Wasn’t Mentioned in the Patch Notes (UPDATED)

Overwatch 2 fans discover a huge buff to one of Orisa’s abilities in the latest balance update that was not mentioned anywhere in the patch notes.

Were these rewards not enough, Overwatch 2 is also offering a set of Symmetra-themed cosmetics for free as Twitch drops. From now through July 14, players can watch 10 hours of their favorite Overwatch 2 streamers on Twitch to unlock Art Deco Symmetra, which renders the scientific perfectionist in a stunning black and gold dress. Fans can also earn the Posed Symmetra spray and the Cute Symmetra icon at the three and six hour mark respectively while working towards earning the skin.

How To Get OW2 Art Deco Symmetra Twitch Drops

  • Connect one’s Battle.net and Twitch accounts, then watch any streamers in the Overwatch 2 category from now through July 14 to earn the following rewards:
    • 3 Hours – Symmetra Posed spray
    • 6 Hours – Symmetra Cute icon
    • 10 Hours – Art Deco Symmetra Legendary skin

Art Deco Symmetra first appeared in Overwatch 2 shortly after its release, where it was available for 1900 Overwatch Coins – the equivalent of $19. It was then brought back during the Overwatch 2 one-year anniversary event, where players could purchase it for 2000 Overwatch Credits. Overwatch 2 fans on PlayStation also got the chance to pick up Art Deco Symmetra for free alongside nine other skins as a part of the Overwatch 2 PlayStation Plus Mega Bundle. However, this limited-time Twitch drop is a great way for players to pick up this skin if they missed the previous opportunities.

Unfortunately, players who already bought Art Deco Symmetra from the cash shop, or during the Overwatch anniversary event, won’t have any way of getting a refund for their Overwatch Coins or Credits. In the past, Overwatch 2 offered a refund for Owl Guardian Mercy when it was given away as a Prime Gaming reward shortly after it was on sale, but it hasn’t done so again since.

Luckily, while Prime Gaming has seemingly cut off its Overwatch 2 rewards, its Twitch drop campaigns are still going strong. It is only a matter of time before Overwatch 2 gives away more cosmetics via Twitch, so hopefully, fans will have another chance at getting some rare skins in the near future.
