  • The player plans to revamp the island for their Villagers after their lengthy break from the game.

An Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has returned to the game after 3 and a half years to a reminder of their clothing catalog island. Like its predecessors, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has a massive catalog of clothes, and this player dedicated their island to it.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons quickly broke franchise records when it was released, causing an influx of new and returning players. While some gamers rushed to get the first 5-star island, others meticulously collected furniture, clothes, and other key items. Although time traveling in the game has been discouraged by Nintendo, many utilized the feature to access things they may have otherwise had to wait for. Visiting other islands and trading with other gamers has also been a viable way of completing collections. After a lengthy break, one player returned to their island to discover that it was specifically dedicated to the game’s many clothing options.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Players Are Just Now Discovering Bug Catching Feature After 4 Years

Fans of Animal Crossing: New Horizons discover a feature on catching bugs, four years after the release of the cozy life-sim.

Reddit user Well_done_draco recently shared a clip highlighting their Animal Crossing: New Horizons island after taking a break for 3.5 years. The video begins with the player running past a large section of land dedicated to Pants. They then walk over an even bigger area with Shirts before crossing Socks, Accessories, Shoes, and full head coverings. The island is color-coded to include blue patterns under the Pants and Socks, a gray texture for Accessories, a green one for head coverings, and pink ones under Shirts and Shoes. The video appears to highlight hundreds of clothing options, with the player claiming that they were using the island to catalog the wearable items. Despite the player wearing one, Dress items are notably absent. All the Animal Crossing: New Horizons shops appear on the north side of the island, freeing up enough space to catalog the clothing.

This Animal Crossing: New Horizons Island Was Dedicated to Clothes

While their island is largely cluttered with their clothing catalog, there are blank places. According to the player, these are left empty because they started dismantling the catalog before having the idea to record their progress. Between each category of clothing, there are also prefabricated paths that can be acquired from the Nook Stop with Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ Nook Miles. Although one Villager can be seen briefly in the video, it’s unclear where their home is located in all the organized chaos. As islands can be terraformed and bridges, ramps, and more can be added to make different areas accessible, this player can easily fix their area.

Because there are some missing clothes in this video, it’s unclear if anything was missing in the full catalog or not. Given that Nintendo hasn’t updated Animal Crossing: New Horizons in a while, it’s unlikely that more clothes will be added. After their lengthy break, this player seems dedicated to an island revamp to make their Villagers feel more at home.
