A talented Baldur’s Gate 3 fan has shared their phenomenally detailed Minthara cosplay. As 2023’s Game of the Year, Baldur’s Gate 3 has inspired countless costumes and creations, and the particularly skilled community is showing no signs of slowing down.
Whereas many of Baldur’s Gate 3‘s followers are predisposed towards goodness, Minthara’s ruthless nature makes her the perfect companion for a murderous Dark Urge or generally villainous player character. Gamers were originally only able to recruit the Oath of Vengeance paladin if they sided with her bloodthirsty army of goblins early in the game, although later patches introduced alternate methods to free her from the Absolute’s influence. Despite Larian Studio’s efforts to make the Drow more accessible in-game, the developer’s recently published anniversary statistics show that Minthara is still the least popular romance option in Baldur’s Gate 3, with only 169,937 all-time player kisses compared to Shadowheart’s overwhelming 27,000,000.

Although Minthara may be her latest muse, Lady Melamori is certainly no stranger to cosplay. While fans will likely continue to impress the gaming community with their creations for years to come, Baldur’s Gate 3’s development will soon come to an end as Larion moves to focus on new projects. September’s upcoming Patch 7 will be Baldur’s Gate 3’s last major content update, bringing dynamic split-screen, an official mod creation kit, and mod management tools for consoles. It will also feature three new evil endings to the game, making it a perfect time for returning players to give Minthara her much-deserved second chance.
