The Skull Key is a rare item dropped by bosses when gamers defeat them in Dark and Darker. It unlocks a secret treasure door that can make players super rich. However, getting your hands on it is far from simple. In this guide, we are going to show you how to find the Skull Key in Dark and Darker.

How to Find the Skull Key in Dark and Darker

To get the Skull Key, you need to defeat tough enemies, such as the Ghost King and Skeleton Warlord. However, it’s not guaranteed these bosses will drop the Skull Key, so you may have to fight many bosses to get it.

The Ghost King has a 2% chance of dropping the Skull Key, while the Skeleton Warlord and Lich have a 0.5% chance. If you manage to beat an elite-level boss, your chances of getting the key go up to 5%. These higher-level monsters are harder to beat but give you a better shot at getting this key.

With this in mind, head to the center of Dark and Darker’s Inferno Map to find Ghost King. If you’re after one of the other enemies, you will find them along the way to the center. Be careful while dealing with these enemies as all of them have a different attack pattern. The Ghost King, for example, appears out of nowhere and sends flying death monsters your way. Use your weapons to beat it and its little monsters, and grab the Skull Key. It might be a bit hard, but with a bit of patience and luck, you will eventually find it.

Once you have the Skull Key, it’s time to find the secret door. Beat all the enemies along the way as you head south, cross the lava-filled floor, beat more monsters, and open the large wall-type door. Next, find a lever on the left side and pull it to extend a bridge to the skull room. Cross this bridge and use the key to open the big secret door.

Here, you will find different chests, legendary weapons, and lots of other valuable items. But watch out! Skeleton Archers and Dragonflies might swarm you from all sides, so take them down to grab all the goodies.
