Coffee Stain Studios recently announced their upcoming remaster of the hit chaotic physics simulator game, Goat Simulator. The silly sandbox game is back and players will be able to once again rain chaos down on the world as a goat in Goat Simulator Remastered.

Goat Simulator is a sandbox physics simulator series where players take on the role of Pilgor the goat as they attempt to complete challenges while causing as much chaos as possible. The game is known for its humor, chaotic physics and seemingly never-ending bugs. The series started with the original Goat Simulator and was later given a sequel in the form of Goat Simulator 3. There is no Goat Simulator 2. The developers seemingly skipped over creating a second game and opted to name the sequel Goat Simulator 3 as a compromise for their internal development teams.

Recently, Coffee Stain Studios announced on their official Twitter that Goat Simulator Remastered will be officially released later this year. The game will feature updated graphics, every DLC released so far, and will be even more riddled with bugs. Goat Simulator Remastered will be the same chaotic sandbox game that old and new fans will love, including everyone’s favorite goat, Pilgor, as the main playable character. The remaster is already available for wish listing on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation and is set to be released later in 2024.

Goat Simulator Remastered Will Maintain all The Best Parts of Goat Simulator

Marketed as the “Remaster that no one asked for,” the developers behind Goat Simulator Remastered have promised to maintain the two main draws of the series: getting to play as a goat and a game filled with hilarious bugs. While the remaster will clean up graphics, textures, and lighting, the developers mentioned that they will only be fixing the boring bugs and plan to leave in all the fun physics-based bugs. Alongside this, Goat Simulator Remastered will include a brand new mutator menu and all the original DLCs released for the PC version and an extra one from the mobile version. With Goat Simulator being one of the greatest physics games of all time, Goat Simulator Remastered is set to deliver on that precedent.

With the official announcement of the remaster, players will now get to cause even more silly chaos and destruction in Goat Simulator Remastered. As promised by the developers, the game will deliver on all the greatest aspects of the original Goat Simulator games, while also providing a more beautiful experience for players with its updated graphics. Goat Simulator Remastered will be officially released later this year on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5 and can currently be wish listed.
