Gameloft has announced that the End of Summer event for Disney Dreamlight Valley will begin on September 4. Disney Dreamlight Valley events often provide players a reason to return to the game, and the next one is coming soon.

While some Nintendo fans are anticipating another big Direct for September, Nintendo just hosted a lengthy Indie World and Partner Showcase. The video included trailers for many titles arriving on the Switch soon. Among the announcements were Yakuza Kiwami, the return of MySims with a bundle featuring two games, and a collection of the Castlevania DS titles. Though MySims had been teased by leakers ahead of the showcase, many unveiled games still managed to be a surprise for fans. According to Gameloft, End of Summer will feature specialty marshmallows for players to collect. The Valley Plaza will have three pink marshmallow bushes, while gamers will have to hunt for blue marshmallows in the Peaceful Meadow, Dazzle Beach, Forest of Valor, and Glade of Trust. While participating in the End of Summer event, players will unlock two recipes themed around the campfire setting. The End of Summer event will run until September 26, giving gamers three weeks to complete their objectives and collections.


Disney Dreamlight Valley’s End of Summer Event Releases on September 4


One key item involved in the End of Summer event is the Bonfire Pit, which provides a new type of photo opportunity for players and their favorite Disney characters. The last content drops for Disney Dreamlight Valley were Dapper Delights and Treasures of Time, each featuring loads of things for gamers to do. Dapper Delights included its own Star Path and the Dapper Donald Dream Style for Donald Duck. Treasures of Time was the final arc of the A Rift in Time expansion pack that expands on the game’s story. This phase of the expansion also gives Mickey Mouse an Epic Mickey overhaul ahead of the September 24 release of Epic Mickey: Rebrushed.
