How to Link Xbox Gamepass Account in Overwatch 2
The opportunity to gain rewards from linking your Overwatch and Xbox Game Pass accounts will only be available for a limited time. Players who wish to cash in on these rewards will need to complete the following steps by November 11, 2024, to ensure everything goes smoothly, and the rewards are successfully added to their account and Hero Gallery.
In addition to ensuring they complete all steps before November 11, 2024, players will need to ensure that the Game Pass plan they have selected is eligible for the Overwatch rewards. Here are all eligible plans:
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
- Xbox Game Pass for Console
- Xbox PC Game Pass
If you have entered a
Game Pass plan
on a discount deal or trial, you may need to double-check your eligibility and potentially upgrade to the full price for these plans. Some players under these circumstances have reported not receiving their rewards upon completion.
How to Link Overwatch and Xbox Game Pass Accounts
- View the Battle.net Account Connections page and log in to your account.
- By Xbox Network, ensure your Xbox Account with an eligible Game Pass subscription appears. If the correct account is already linked, you will automatically receive the rewards, as long as an active subscription is linked.
- If no account is linked, click the +Connect button to link your account for the first time.
- If the wrong Xbox Account is linked, you can switch to a new one, as long as it has been more than 1 year since the accounts were linked. Click Disconnect, and then Click +Connect and enter the correct account to replace the old one.

All Xbox Gamepass Rewards in Overwatch 2
All players who successfully complete the steps required to link their Overwatch and Xbox Game Pass accounts before the required date will receive six different hero skins to permanently keep, many of which were previously only obtainable via purchase from the Overwatch Shop. The six skins are as follows:
- Cardboard Reinhardt
- Turtleship D.Va
- Cyberdragon Hanzo
- Street Runner Genji
- Bee Mercy
- Cleric Lifeweaver
In addition to this, players will also receive a one-time bonus of 30 Mythic Prisms to spend as they’d like on Mythic Skins, Mythic Weapons, or Mythic Aspects. Lastly, as long as your Xbox Game Pass subscription remains active, you will have limited-time access to a range of paid hero skins from the Overwatch Shop released during the last three seasons of the game. These skins will automatically unlock in your Hero Gallery, be available to equip, and will rotate as each new Competitive Season comes into play.
