Responding to emergencies in the middle of a zombie apocalypse is pretty rough, and players will be doing a lot of that in No More Room in Hell 2. Missions take place on a large map, and there’s a lot of stuff to do before anyone can start doing the main objective.
Every deployment will take a while to complete, even more so if you’re doing things alone. Finding other players in No More Room in Hell 2 will speed things up significantly, but still, there are a lot of things to consider if we’re talking about average match lengths.

How Long Does A Normal NMRIH 2 Match Last?
With so many factors to account for, we can safely peg the average NMRIH 2 match length at about 40 minutes, though this can be cut down to sub-30 minutes if everyone in the group knows what they’re doing.
The game is slow-paced by nature, and while you can skip a lot of side-objectives, doing so will severely hamper your odds of success. Hitting places like the Bar or Ranger Station will usually net players some good weapons and a lot of ammo for them. Also, these usually contain Supplies, which you’ll need if you want to unlock more skills in NMRIH 2.
Raiding POIs and Gearing Up
As of the Early Access version of the game, players will need to find good gear as they go. Weapons, ammo, and explosives are typically found within the many POIs dotting the map. These points of interest are usually abandoned or overrun, and players will need to restore power to them in order to get inside supply rooms.
You can expect each POI to take about 5–10 minutes to restore, though this could change depending on the number of players doing objectives and how many zombies they have to deal with. Playing No More Room in Hell 2 with friends is strongly recommended if you want faster clear times.
Leave guns as a last resort
, as even a single gunshot can call in an endless horde of undead.
So far, the Power Plant is the only map available in the game. If future maps remain the same in terms of size and scope, then game length should stay the same overall. Unless a map has complex objectives or requires multiple ones to be completed all over the playable area, then 30–40 minutes should be a comfortable estimation of how much time players need to commit to a single round.
