Redditor DPT_Doofy shared their epic piece of Destiny 2 Hunter fashion, after transforming their character into two different astronauts. One is the very classic all-white look that everyone can immediately recognize, while the other is more of an orange, modern flight suit design. While the two Hunter designs are pretty different, they’re both undeniably awesome, taking tons of creativity from DPT_Doofy to create. Some even pointed out the resemblance to the dead astronauts in the classic Doctor Who episode, “Silence in the Library,” and with a side-by-side image, it’s definitely a fair point to make.

Destiny 2 Astronaut Recreation

As part of their post, DPT_Doofy was kind enough to share screenshots of the customization for both, revealing all the armor pieces that were used to bring these astronaut-themed creations to life. Interestingly, the only shared item between the two is the Lost Pacific Vest, while everything else differs for both. They also showed which Destiny 2 ornaments any player wanting to recreate these Hunters perfectly should use to get them spot on. The color is a key part of why these creations work, so it’s good to know the ornaments that were used.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for the Destiny franchise when it comes to the possibility of a new mainline title. There’s a new Destiny mobile game on the way, but most would not consider that a true sequel to Destiny 2. It has been seven years now since the last game in the series, and while it remains popular with new content from Bungie, the desire for a brand-new title in the series is undeniably growing in the community.
