How to Fix ‘Can’t Sleep Due to Status Ailment’
Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl features a dynamic day and night cycle and players can pick the time they prefer to head out on their adventures. You can opt to sleep in the bed located inside one of the bases, which will not only heal players to full health but also progress the time between day, noon, and night. Different times of day also introduce slight gameplay changes, which further incentivizes players to head out at a particular moment.

How to Progress Time in Stalker 2
Players can progress the time of day in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobylby sleeping in beds. Personal quarters can be found right next to the trader in the Zalissya base when starting out and also appear in almost all the bases players visit when progressing through the game.
In the Zalissya base, players get access to the bed by completing the mission “Stalker Wisdom.” Right after completing the mission, visit the building with the trader and go left into a room with beds. Players will be able to sleep in one of the beds in the corner and have access to a personal stash right next to it to store excess terms.
Sleeping is a great way to restore your health and keep your character in Stalker 2 well-rested so they can perform well in the field without facing the effects of sleeplessness.
How to Fix ‘Can’t Sleep Due to Status Ailment’
There will be times when players return to their quarters and can’t sleep due to a Status Ailment. This usually happens when your character is usually hungry (indicated by the chicken leg icon), bleeding, or inflicted with another status effect.
The solution to sleeping is by getting rid of the status ailment. For example, eat a snack or use a bandage to get rid of hunger or stop bleeding, respectively. However, do know that once you wake up, the character will feel hungry again, and you’ll have to eat a snack before trying to sleep again. But, no matter the level of health you have, it will be fully recovered after players wake up from sleeping, which is a great incentive to do this in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
