Over the past 22 years, five Animal Crossing titles have been released across a host of systems, from the Nintendo 64 and the Nintendo DS to the Wii U and Nintendo Switch, each boasting its own line of amiibo figures and cards based on the franchise’s beloved villagers. A line of Animal Crossing amiibo figures and cards was released for Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer and Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival from 2015 to 2016, with an additional card series later released for Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Given the series’ popularity, it’s not hard to see why so many players love creating their very own custom amiibo inspired by the characters from Animal Crossing titles.
