An Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has created a charming pizzeria in the game, and fellow fans are taking notice. Animal Crossing: New Horizons, especially with the Happy Home Paradise DLC, gives players a wide assortment of items and decorations to create whatever they set their minds to. In addition, with the ability to create one’s own pattern to display, the possibilities become nearly endless, leading to creations like these.
Animal Crossing has been a popular game series for years, becoming better known in the west with the release of the 3DS game New Leaf and following the addition of the Villager and Isabelle as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fighters. New Horizons‘ release saw the series reach new heights in popularity as players flocked to the game to help them relax and reunite with friends digitally during the global COVID-19 pandemic. However, long after that, fans are still readily playing the game and coming up with new ideas all the time.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons Fan Creates Incredible Terrariums
A passionate Animal Crossing: New Horizons fan designs and creates beautiful real-world terrariums inspired by some favorite characters.
One such player is dreaming_of_utopia, who has shared several creations on Reddit, including a new pizzeria. The entire room is aesthetically pleasing, with wooden flooring, brick walls, and two brick pizza ovens behind a counter. The space is small, adding to its cozy vibe, with a pair of flatscreen TVs on the walls, seats at the counter and at tables, and little touches like menuboards and drink machines completing the look. As Animal Crossing: New Horizon‘s 2.0 update added edible pizzas to the game, friends could potentially drop by the user’s island and share a bite.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons players have been quick to offer praise for the pizzeria creation. While the entire room drew users’ attention, one in particular liked the use of the Stacked-wood wall dreaming_of_utopia used to fill in the space around the pizza ovens. Unfortunately, the OP didn’t share their Dream Island code, so there’s no way for other players to visit the pizzeria at this time. It’s likely that the images will inspire some fans to build their own versions of it, though, as players often come up with new ideas after seeing fellow fans’ creativity on display.
Unfortunately, Animal Crossing: New Horizons isn’t receiving updates anymore, and it’s unlikely that fans will see any further releases in the series until the Nintendo Switch 2 reaches store shelves. However, no official announcements have been made regarding the console, so it’s not clear when that might happen, though many have predicted that the Switch 2 could see a 2024 launch. Thankfully, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has enough ways to customize and design objects that many fans have managed to keep themselves entertained with the aging game. It will be interesting to see how a future Animal Crossing game might expand further upon the ability to build and customize and what creations that will lead the community to dream up.
