A dedicated Animal Crossing: New Horizons player showed off their terrariums inspired by the game, and the results are amazing. The latest entry in the Animal Crossing series may make the list of awesome Switch games for casual players, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t attract some devoted and passionate gamers. The community is full of fans who love to create new things, both in and out of the game, and share them with their peers.

A great deal of the Animal Crossing creations shared online are designs created in the game itself. From fresh layouts for character homes to a recent winter-themed island created by an Animal Crossing: New Horizons player, there’s no shortage of in-game creations to admire. One artistic fan, however, has decided to take their creativity and love for the title into the real world instead.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Player Makes Impressive Museum Entrance

A creative Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has created an impressive and lavish re-design for the entrance to their island’s museum.

On Reddit, a user known as Accomplished-Top4709 is sharing pictures of the new terrariums they designed in honor of Animal Crossing: New Horizons and its characters. Each piece is made from the shell of a Nintendo DS and decorated with mini flowers, grass, and bushes. The highlight of each terrarium, however, is a small figure of a character from the game with a picture of the same character in the background, on the DS screen.

The four terrariums shared feature Molly the Duck, Chrissy the Rabbit, Judy the Cub, and the famous musician K.K. Slider. These are excellent choices, given the almost universal popularity of K.K. Slider, the fact that Judy makes the list of the quirkiest villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Molly appears to be a major fan favorite. Indeed, the Molly terrarium is already receiving lots of love online.

In response to the Reddit post, more than a few gamers are voicing their appreciation for the whole collection with a special emphasis on Molly. The general consensus is that she looks adorable sitting and reading her book in a tiny garden on top of a Nintendo DS. Plenty of Redditors are asking where they can get their own terrarium or, at least, how they build one that’s similar.

These pieces of art aren’t exactly the first real-world creations inspired by the beloved Nintendo game. Last year, for example, an Animal Crossing: New Horizons player created keychains in honor of Brewster, and there have been lots of other creations shown off over the years. Still, these terrariums stand out as some of the best Animal Crossing-themed display pieces in recent years. Based on responses on Reddit, fans are likely to see more of these popping up in the near future.
