An artist drew Genshin Impact character, Wriothesley, in Hades‘ distinct art style. The 5-star Cryo character was released during Genshin Impact Version 4.1, and was introduced as the Administrator of the Fortress of Meropide in Fontaine.

Genshin Impact is one of HoYoverse’s most scenic titles thanks to its beautiful open-world environment and unique character designs. These have inspired many fans to create art based on their favorite Genshin Impact characters, and adding their own flare to their works. Another video game with a very distinct art style is Supergiant Games’ Hades, which showcases detailed portraits of each of its characters.

Genshin Impact Leak Reveals Every Possible Emilie Design

Ahead of her drip marketing for Version 4.8, a Genshin Impact player compiles all leaked Emilie designs, sorted and categorized by different sources.

Hades‘ art style is often replicated, which is why artist RhymeWithRay drew Wriothesley as if he was a character in the roguelike title. They shared their work on Twitter, which showed the Genshin Impact character wearing a red and black toga similar to Zagreus’ outfit, but with wolf fur over his shoulders. The dialogue box also contains a line from “An Opportunity for Rebirth,” which is the first part of Wriothesley’s Story Quest.

In the replies, many Genshin Impact and Hades fans praised RhymeWithRay’s work, even noting that they managed to capture the latter’s unique art style while drawing Wriothesley. Some also said that Wriothesley could pass as a character in Greek mythology thanks to the drawing. Previously, Hades fans drew the likes of rapper Lil Nas X and God of War‘s Kratos as if they were part of the popular roguelike.

Genshin Impact’s Story Continues With Natlan

Genshin Impact continues to expand with the upcoming Pyro region, Natlan, which will introduce new characters and potential gameplay mechanics, and continue its rich story. The region is expected to be revealed in Chapter 5, but many Genshin Impact fans are already trying to figure out its geography. This would mean that players will meet new characters that they can run in their team comps, and also inspire them to create various fan art to show their appreciation.

Likewise, many Genshin Impact fans are also hopeful that HoYoverse will be more generous with updates and perks in future updates, especially with Natlan just over the horizon. The developer has been criticized for allegedly skimping on freebies and rewards in Genshin Impact, while sister game Honkai: Star Rail is giving players free characters left and right. Hopefully, this big update will greatly reward the fans, especially those who’ve been on this journey since day one.
