A creative fan artist has recently redesigned eight Pokemon using the art style of the popular Lilo and Stitch franchise. The Pokemon community loves to create amazing fan art, and this artist specializes in redesigning some of the most iconic creatures of the franchise as Lilo and Stitch characters.

The first Lilo and Stitch movie was originally released in 2002, and it became a huge critical darling, spawning three sequels in the following years, as well as a television series. In 2018, a live-action Lilo and Stitch movie was announced, but it still has no official release date after a few delays.

A talented Pokemon fan devises amazing art depicting a past Paradox form for Fearow, a classic Gen 1 Normal/Flying-type creature.

Now, a talented artist who loves Pokemon called Troytheartboy has shared eight pieces reimagining some monsters in Lilo and Stitch’s visual style. In the gallery shared by the artist, it’s possible to see new versions of Mudkip, Magcargo, Makuhita, Torchic, Marshadow, Latias, Chimchar, and Treecko. All of these new versions closely follow Lilo and Stitch’s art style, which is a mixture of cute and weird due to how every Pokemon has a round face and Stitch’s wacky smile. Among these creations, Mudkip and Chimchar really stand out, as they could easily be aliens from the Disney franchise.

Pokemon Reimagined In Lilo and Stitch’s Style

This is not the first time that Troytheartboy shared Pokemon reimagined in Lilo and Stitch’s style with the community. A few months ago, the artist shared seven other creatures, including Latias (which was featured again in this recent gallery), Latios, Pichu, Nidoran (male and female), Golduck, and Zorua. As usual, most creatures looked absolutely twisted and goofy.

In an earlier work, Troytheartboy also redesigned eight other Pokemon as Lilo and Stitch characters: Sneasel (both with original and Hisui variant forms), Weavile, Heracross, Hypno, Mawile, Wigglytuff, and Poliwrath. While all of them looked great, Hypno was a highlight as one of the best designs the artist ever made, mixing the two styles very well.

Other Pokemon fans also like to mix ideas from Nintendo and Disney’s franchises. For instance, another artist turned four Pokemon dogs into Disney characters some time ago. At the time, the artist drew an adult Furfrou with three puppies: Lillipup, Rockruff, and Yamper, all using a style that was reminiscent of Disney animal movies from the 70s and 80s such as The Aristocats and Oliver and Company. Fans can likely expect to keep seeing a lot of quality Pokemon fan art coming out soon, as fans are constantly trying out new ideas, including Paradox forms, fusions, new evolutions, and more.
