Baldur’s Gate 3 is a massive game that has an achievement list to match the length, but some are hidden away behind question marks that you won’t be able to unlock until you accidentally stumble upon them. Some are easier to get than others, but if you know where to look and what to do, then you shouldn’t have any problems getting all the Baldur’s Gate 3 achievements.

It’s important to remember, though, that achievements are often hidden because they are story spoilers. So, if you haven’t finished the game yet, beware that the following list will likely contain story moments you may not have come across before. Certain achievements will also take a lot more effort and important story choices throughout the game to achieve. So, if you haven’t got them yet, it may be time for another playthrough.

This guide will contain spoilers for certain story beats across Baldur’s Gate 3!

All Baldur’s Gate 3 Hidden Achievements

As previously mentioned, Baldur’s Gate 3 is a massive game. So, if you want to get all the achievements, get ready to put 100+ hours into it – and prepare for more than one playthrough – because some of them require you to make different choices from those you made in your first playthrough. Here are all the hidden achievements to look out for:

Act 1

  • Repairing The Weave: Stabilize Gale’s Netherest Orb.
  • Just a Nibble: Let Astarion feed on you.
  • Forged in Blood and Fire: Craft an item in the Adamantine Forge.
  • A Grym Fate: Kill the Adamantine Golem without using the Forge Hammer.
  • Taking Blood:Steal the Blood of Lathander from Rosymorn’s Monastery.
  • Rude, Crude, and Full of Attitude: Find and summon the Quasit Shovel.
  • Pest Control: Kill the Spider Matriarch before her eggs hatch.
  • The Lich-Queen’s Wrath: Ally with Voss against the Githyanki God-queen.
  • The Plot Thickens: Leave Act 1.

Some of the more lengthy hidden achievements are only obtainable in Act 1, and if you miss them, you won’t be able to go back and get them. These are namely Taking Blood and the Adamantine Forge-related achievements. As a tip, when you fight the Golem in the Adamantine Forge, make sure you go into that fight with your tankiest party members and some who can do ranged damage. It’s a difficult fight, and it may take some time to get right.

Act 2

Night Orchids only grow in the Shadowlands, so you can only complete this achievement while you are exploring Act 2. Additionally, Sazza can be found again in Moonrise Towers once you rescue her from the Grove and the Goblin Camp in Act 1. However, you need to go to Moonrise Towers before saving the Nightsong in order to save Sazza one last time and get the achievement.

Act 3

  • First Blood: Kill Orin while her cultists are performing the ritual.
  • Interfectorem Draconis: Kill the red dragon in the Upper City.
  • Murder in Baldur’s Gate: Become an Unholy Assassin of Bhaal.
  • Mind Blown:Romance the Emperor.
  • Loophole:Break Wyll’s pact with Mizora.
  • Hot Date:Go on a date with Karlach.
  • Embrace Your Urge: Become Bhaal’s Slayer.
  • Sins of the Father: Take control of the Netherbrain for Bhaal.
  • Ceremorphosis: Become a Mindflayer to defeat the Netherbrain.
  • Hero of the Forgotten Realms: Kill the Netherbrain and destroy the Absolute Tadpoles.
  • Absolute Power Corrupts: Take control of the Netherbrain and bend the world to your will.

Act 3 is mostly where you’ll only be able to get one or two of the ending achievements because you can’t choose all of them. The others, unlike those you find in Act 1 and 2, are fairly straightforward thankfully. The main reason you’d want to play again is to get the Dark Urge-specific ending achievements and make a different choice when you finally defeat the Netherbrain.

General Achievements

  • Expand Your Mind: Consume a parasite.
  • Leave No One Behind: Save every Tiefling refugee in a single playthrough.
  • You Have Two Hands For a Reason: Pet Scratch and the Owlbear Cub at the same time.
  • All’s Well That Ends Well: Finish the Game.
  • Pride of Baldur’s Gate – Platinum (PlayStation only): Get all trophies.

One of the trickiest achievements to get throughout the game is Leave No One Behind, where you need to save all the Tiefling refugees. This means you have to help them escape Emerald Grove safely, find all those who wandered off in the Shadowlands, and one or two more in Act 3 as well.
