Shdowheart is a great healer and addition to the player’s party in BG3.

The player can find many incredible items and artifacts throughout their playthrough, and one of the most fascinating ones of them all is the Resonance Stone.

What is The Resonance Stone in Baldur’s Gate 3?

The Resonance Stone is quite an uncommon stone that the player can stumble upon while exploring the Mind Flayer Colony during Act 2.

This is how the Stone is described in the game:

“This stone gives you and those around you the Steeped in Bliss Condition. Resonance Stones heighten emotion in those within their radius.”

This stone certainly has its advantages and disadvantages. Simply put, the player and anyone within 9 meters will get the condition Steeped in Bliss. It will grant an advantage when it comes to mental saving throws. However, on the other hand, they’ll become very susceptible to psychic damage.

How To Get The Resonance Stone

To get the Resonance Stone, there isn’t a specific place to look at as it can be found in multiple places, all depending on the player and their luck.

However, first and foremost, the player must head into the Mind Flayer Colony, which can be quite dangerous. The player will have to look around carefully in the Mind Flayer Colony, and the most common way to find the Resonance Stone seems to be by killing Mind Flayers and looting their bodies. It can also be found in random places as a pick-up, especially around the puzzle rooms.

There’s no guarantee that the player will find this stone, but searching everywhere in the colony will definitely increase the chances of stumbling across it.

How To Use The Resonance Stone in Baldur’s Gate 3

As mentioned before, this stone will grant the player and anyone around Steeped in Bliss. The player does not have to equip this stone for its effect to start, it can just be carried in their inventory.

It is definitely not recommended to have this stone with the player when fighting Ketheric as he can deal Psychic damage, which this stone makes the player extra vulnerable to.

Overall, this stone might have more downsides than upsides, so it is not worth all that much, but if used carefully, players can get some benefits from it.
