The world of Baldur’s Gate 3 features an extensive mythology, filled with gods and goddesses for clerics and priests to worship. Throughout their adventure across Faerun, players encounter various deities and their worshippers, such as Mystra, Myrkul, Bhaal, and Vlaakith. Two goddesses have a central place within the Baldur’s Gate 3 universe: the goddess of darkness and loss, Shar, and her twin sister Selune, goddess of the moon. With the two sisters in an eternal conflict, players can side with either one of them – or none, should they decide not to pick a side.

A dedicated Baldur’s Gate 3 player built an entire shrine dedicated to Selune, the goddess of the moon. Playing as the githyanki warrior Lae’zel, a Reddit user known as reapertuesday shared a screenshot of their Selune shrine, supposedly built to keep cleric Shadowheart away from her bedroll, a reference to the ambiguous rivalry between Lae’zel and Shadowheart. The shrine features various elements found across Faerun, including a statue of Selune, several candles, incense sticks, a sacrificial dagger, jars, and scrolls.
A Selune Shrine Made By Githyanki Warrior Lae’Zel
Reapertuesday roleplayed as Lae’zel when responding to the comments on their post, using githyanki words like “istik” or “tsk’va” and echoing the character’s opinions about Shadowheart and Astarion. In the comments, fellow Baldur’s Gate 3 players were impressed by this Selune shrine, and some of them didn’t realize that they could customize their campsite. However, those who would like to personalize their camp should keep in mind that any decoration they use will not transfer to another location, meaning the custom camp can only appear in a specific area and players have to start from scratch when camping in another place.

Among all the creations recently shared on social media, a Baldur’s Gate 3 player created Barbie and Ken as the game’s main character and their Guardian, while another made a build based on Elden Ring‘s popular player Let Me Solo Her.
