As players continue their adventure in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, they will get to see how big the map truly is. Most of the exploring is done on foot, so coming back to a place isn’t the most pleasurable thing to do. Thankfully, the game has fast travel, but players won’t be able to access it at the beginning. In order to access fast travel, players will need to complete the first few quests of the story. This will involve going to New Eden and figuring out what happened to Charles. Early in the game, players will take control of Antea and use her analytical skills to figure out how the events transpired in their absence. Players will have to talk to different individuals and learn more about the entity haunting New Eden.

Eventually, players will have to perform a Harkening Ritual to summon an Echo. This will provide Antea with a crucial piece of information that is needed to give Charles peace. After successfully sending off Charles, players will have to return and rest. However, they will be forced to leave the premises and take control of Red to look for Antea. Subsequently, players will have to fight the Nightmare, which will be a turning point in the game. Once this part is over, players will have to play a bit more to finally unlock fast travel.

How To Fast Travel In Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

​​​​​​Players will only be able to fast travel in the game from a campfire, which is called a shelter. You will have to locate these shelters and light the campfire to unlock fast travel to them.

• Once you are near the fire, press the X button (PlayStation) or the A button (Xbox)
• Choose Fast Travel
• This will bring up a map with all the available shelters
• Then scroll to the one that you want to travel to and press the Square button (PlayStation) or the X button (Xbox)

The shelters also serve as spots to rest, upgrade weapons, and check the evolution of Antea and Red.

It is important to remember that after fast traveling to a place, there is a time-lapse, resulting in previously killed enemies being respawned. It also causes decoctions and resources to be replenished. The only thing that players might find cumbersome is the small cutscene that plays every time they decide to fast travel.
