The T-60 Power Armor from the Fallout series has been moded into Batman: Arkham Knight, replacing Batman’s traditional cape and cowl. Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Knight was released in 2015 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One but has shot back into the popular consciousness following the ill-received Suicide Squad Kills The Justice League.

Just a few weeks after Rocksteady’s latest game launched, Batman: Arkham Knight still had a higher player count than Suicide Squad. With Batman experiencing a boom in popularity, one talented modder has decided to give the caped crusader a new outfit that’s straight out of another franchise that has returned to the spotlight.

A user named TheCriticalCynic2022 has posted a video to Reddit showing the T-60 Power Armor in action. In the two-minute video, fans see the suit in action with Batman taking on multiple enemies with surprising mobility. The mod, made by JAKMM and available through Nexusmods, can be installed on the base version of Arkham Knight. When installed, players will note that the T-60 is only a visual modification to the Batsuit, and doesn’t give any additional weapons.

Nevertheless, fans are excited to be able to drop Bruce Wayne into a piece of the Brotherhood of Steel’s suit of choice. Comments on the r/Fallout subreddit praise the attention to detail seen in the video, with fans noticing that the Power Armor appears to have come straight out of the wastelands of the Fallout franchise. Some players are offering ideas for improvements that could be made to the Arkham Knight mod, including adding blast animations to the feet and the powerful gun that normally accompanies the suit.

While Batman’s latest suit is an unofficial mod for Arkham Knight, this isn’t the first time Fallout’s Power Armor has cropped up outside of Bethesda’s open-world RPG franchise. Gamers can get their hands on the T-60 Armor in Fortnite as part of the Wrecked season, with the armor being unlocked at level 54 as one of the paid battle pass rewards.

Fans will no doubt be encouraged by the community’s dedication to Arkham Knight some 9 years after it was released. This is especially poignant as Suicide Squad Kills The Justice League failed to meet financial expectations, and left some gamers feeling like it trampled the legacy created by the Arkham trilogy. Still, players will soon be able to pick up the cape and cowl once again in the Meta Quest exclusive Batman Arkham Shadow, and it remains to be seen what modders will do with the VR title.
