Belkin is releasing a motorized iPhone dock that swivels and tilts to track your movements while on camera. The device, called the Belkin Stand Pro, costs $179.99 and appears to be the first to adopt Apple’s DockKit framework, allowing you to connect the device to your iPhone without having to install a third-party app.

The Stand Pro’s cylindrical base is capable of rotating 360 degrees, while the MagSafe-equipped motorized arm can tilt up and down with 90 degrees of movement. Once you pop an iPhone 12 or newer onto the stand, you can pair it to your device with NFC. From there, you can open any app with a camera — like FaceTime, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, or Microsoft Teams — and the dock will automatically shift the iPhone to keep you (or your subject) in frame when video chatting or filming.

The Stand Pro supports up to 15W wireless fast charging when it’s plugged into the included USB-C cable and 30W power supply. There’s also an option to use the Stand Pro on battery power, which will get you around five hours of use on a single charge. You can turn tracking on or off with the Stand Pro’s built-in button, and the LED indicator will show whether tracking is currently active.

While there are already some cheaper motorized stands out there, some of which claim to use AI to pick up and track your movement, Belkin’s seems to be the first to integrate Apple’s DockKit framework, laying the groundwork for other compatible stands in the future.

Aside from the Stand Pro, Belkin also announced an upgraded version of its BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Stand that uses the latest Qi2 standard. Like the previous model, this 15W charging station costs $149.99 and lets you juice up your phone, Apple Watch Series 7 or later, and wireless earbuds. There’s also a new Qi2-enabled BoostCharge Pro Magnetic Power Bank that starts at $39.99 for 5,000mAh.

We don’t know when the Stand Pro will be released just yet, but you can check back on Belkin’s website for availability. Meanwhile, the BoostCharge 3-in-1 stand and BoostCharge Pro power bank will become available in March.
