One fateful day, Simon finds a weapon that can be manned. Initially, he is reluctant to use it, but he changes his mind after Kamina’s incessant pleas. They manage to fend off a deadly attack by using the weapon. The duo does get some help from Yoko Littner, who is quite knowledgeable about Gunmen and the rest of the world.
