Naruto Uzumaki is certainly one of the most iconic individuals in anime and manga as a whole, and a character that has been cherished by fans both old and young for decades. Naruto defined an entire generation, and inspired countless individuals all over the world. When the Naruto series ended, fans saw Naruto Uzumaki reach his peak as a shinobi.

However, in the shaky sequel to the Naruto series, he has since then been knocked off his pedestal. Naruto has lost his most impressive power, that is, Kurama. With that, he has also lost the ability to utilize Six Paths Sage Mode. However, there is still hope for Naruto Uzumaki and there is a big chance that he will get the opportunity to regain this ability at a later point in the story.

How Naruto Can Regain Kurama

Naruto Uzumaki ended up losing the power of Kurama when he fought against Isshiki Otsutsuki. When Naruto was first made aware of Isshiki’s presence, he decided to fight against him and unabashedly went all out in the battle. Back then, Isshiki was inhabiting Jigen’s body. Naruto and Sasuke teamed up to take down Isshiki, however, even though they were incredibly powerful together, they could not put even a scratch on this monstrous fighter. When Isshiki returned, later, the difference in strength between them increased even further. Isshiki was nearly impossible for Naruto to beat.

Naruto and Sasuke tried to team up against him once again, however, failed, which was expected at this point. To make up for the disparity between them, Kurama suggested utilizing a completely new form of energy, which would be created by using Naruto and Kurama’s chakra as raw materials. This gave rise to Baryon Mode, which is Naruto’s strongest transformation to date. Naruto was able to defeat Isshiki using this incredible power, however, the cost for this was way too massive. In the end, it was Kurama who ended up dying as a result of this massive sacrifice, and while Isshiki was certainly taken down, thanks to cooperation from Kawaki, the price had already been paid. Kurama ended up losing his life and, with that, Naruto lost a big portion of not just his strength, but his personality as well. For the very first time, Naruto was truly alone and this was a massive change for him.

While the loss of Kurama was certainly huge and something that has, since then, weakened Naruto tremendously, this loss does not have to be permanent. Granted, Naruto has barely been involved in the story ever since he lost Kurama, but the Uzumaki is the face of the entire franchise. At some point in the story, he will have to make a return. And when he does make a return, Naruto will most certainly be blessed with incredible powers, and likely those of Kurama.

One might wonder as to how that is possible. The answer to that question lies in the all-powerful technique called Omnipotence. Fans know that Omnipotence is an incredible ability that can do just about anything. It is truly a power of the gods. Whereas Izanagi can turn imagination into reality, Omnipotence can bring forth any desire of the individual. Sadly, Ada cannot control the power of Omnipotence just yet. However, if she, somehow, gains control over Omnipotence at some point in the story and decides to aid Boruto and Konoha in general, then, it is entirely possible for her to utilize her powers to make it so that Kurama never died. With that, Kurama could officially be resurrected and Naruto could once again become the Jinchuriki of this powerful beast.

Reestablishing The Link With Other Tailed Beasts

Once Naruto Uzumaki returns, it is going to be essential for him to re-establish the link with other Tailed Beasts. After all, having a link with all the tailed beasts is important for him to access Six Paths Sage Mode fully. Naruto is the link to all the Tailed Beasts meeting ground. Hagoromo clarified this before he moved on, and as Kurama is resurrected, Naruto will have to reestablish the connection with every tailed beast once again.

Perhaps, fans will see Naruto go out and meet them, or, it is also possible that this connection is restored automatically as well.

In either case, Naruto will have access to their chakra as well. And, when he gains access to all of their chakra, he will once again become the pseudo 10 Tails Jinchuriki, which means that he will have access to Six Paths Sage Mode once again. Naruto will then be able to access the power of the Six Paths Senjutsu, and using this transformation, his powers will be taken to an entirely new level.

The Return Of Six Paths Sage Mode Naruto

Towards the end of the Boruto series, fans might potentially see the return of Six Paths Sage Mode Naruto. As fans know, Six Paths Sage Mode is one of the most iconic transformations of Naruto Uzumaki that he donned in the 4th Great Ninja War for the very first time. This form of his was perfected over the years and it took many different appearances. Now, Naruto will have to make sure that this transformation returns with a bang and, if Kurama does return, then it goes without saying that he will regain access to this power.

When the power of Six Paths Sage Mode is restored, Naruto will once again become a relevant fighter in the story. As things stand, Naruto stands no chance against the powerful individuals in the series. For him to once again be capable of taking down his enemies, Naruto absolutely needs the power of Six Paths Sage Mode once again. Perhaps, Naruto can actually come back stronger than before if he gains a way to strengthen this power. If that were to be the case, then fans would absolutely love this development and it would pave the way for an even more exciting future not just for Naruto Uzumaki, but for the Naruto franchise, as a whole.

Of course, fans will still have to wait for Naruto to return and regain his powers. For now, he remains sealed inside the dimension of Daikokuten, which is where Kawaki put him. It appears that it will still take some time for him to return. For now, the main antagonists in the series are the Shinju clones. And, once they are dealt with, then, the battle between Boruto and Kawaki may be tackled. With that, Naruto Uzumaki and all the others can potentially return, and finally, an opportunity for the return of Kurama, as well as the resurgence of the Six Paths Sage Mode will be possible. Until then, fans will have to sit back and watch Boruto Uzumaki continue his endeavors to save the world.
