What Is Coming With Season 5 Of Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone?
Season 5 Reloaded brings a huge amount of content for fans to dive into at launch. When it comes to Multiplayer, players can look forward to two Core 6v6 maps: Bait and Yard, along with the additional cel-shaded map variants of Shipment and Rust. Wacky new modes also enter the spotlight, with the standout mode being COD Warrior, a game mode that pits three teams of two against each other as they compete in a series of mini-games. Later, on July 31, players can also dive into Slam Deathmatch, a deathmatch-style mode where players have to perform Finishing Moves on their opponents to score points.
Warzone also receives a sizable content update for Season 5, including the revival of Superstore, a fan-favorite Verdansk POI that players can find on Urzikstan. Superstore will also be a playable map for Warzone Resurgence, cranking up the chaos meter even further. Speaking of Resurgence, those who dive into the high-action mode can partake in the Resurgence Public Event: Bounty Contest. When this event occurs, every team on the map will be granted a Bounty Contract, providing players with the opportunity to earn a big cash prize whilst simultaneously being hunted by other squads. Warzone Mobile also receives additional content, including new POIs for Verdansk, and the debut of the Meat 6v6 Multiplayer map.
On top of new maps and modes for both games, players can also look forward to brand-new seasonal rewards for both Modern Warfare 3 Ranked and Warzone Ranked playlists. Three new weapons also enter the spotlight for both games, each earned through the Season 5 Battle Pass. These weapons include the Static-HV Submachine Gun and the STG Assault Rifle. While all of this may sound pretty neat for players anticipating Season 5, additional content will also drop for Modern Warfare 3, Warzone, and Modern Warfare Zombies with the debut of Season 5 Reloaded.
