Cyberpunk 2077 houses some incredible locations within and outside of Night City. Players can explore many nooks and crannies in Cyberpunk 2077, so long as they are brave enough to go there. Pacifica is one such location, and it’s best to bring some iron and an escape vehicle in case things go south when exploring the dangers lurking in this underdeveloped slum of Night City.

A lot of tragic moments exist in Cyberpunk 2077. Unfortunately, these characters met sad and untimely ends.

Enter Pacifica, a location in the echelons of Night City where the police don’t even bother to enforce the law due to the high levels of crime and gangs that feature within. Without police, Pacifica harbors plenty of intrigue.

6 Pacifica Serenity Bible Church

A Chapel With A Fallout Shelter For The Voodoo Boys In The Basement

Pacifica Serenity Bible Church in Cyberpunk 2077

  • Dominant Gang: Voodoo Boys
  • Area: Coastview
  • Relevant Quests: Double Life, M’ap Tann Pelen, I Walk the Line, Transmission

The church in Pacifica makes for a pretty decent setting as players step into a sermon here while trying to get in touch with the Voodoo Boys. While said sermon is taking place, V is taken aside and brought to the Voodoo Boys, who give him the less-than-enviable task of breaking into the “abandoned” mall nearby to secure something valuable.

The church itself becomes pretty desolate after this quest is over, but that doesn’t mean players can drink in the sight of what is one of the more somber locations in the game. Given how much gang warfare takes place in Night City, most people would appreciate the opportunity to stick around here and take in the sights of the city before moving on to bigger and better things.

5 Grand Imperial Mall

An Abandoned Mall Occupied By The Animals

Grand Imperial Mall in Cyberpunk 2077

  • Dominant Gang: Animals, Scavengers
  • Area: Coastview
  • Relevant Quests: I Walk the Line, Beat on the Brat

The Grand Imperial Mall could’ve been a major landmark that let civilization creep into the lawless land of Pacifica, but corpos screwed around so much with this location that it was ultimately abandoned. This allowed both the Animals and Scavengers to set up bases here, using this building as a hideout to run their operations.

During V’s mission in this mall, they’ll be tasked with taking out a wealth of Animals before coming face to face with their leader, Sasquatch. This bulked-up fighter hits like a truck and will force players to employ run-and-gun tactics to step out of melee range and slowly whittle her health bar down from a distance.

4 Batty’s Hotel

A Base For The Voodoo Boys

Batty's Hotel in Cyberpunk 2077

  • Dominant Gang: Voodoo Boys
  • Area: Coastview
  • Relevant Quests: I Walk the Line

At a glance, Batty’s Hotel seems like nothing more than one of the many abandoned buildings in Pacifica that couldn’t stand the heat of the gangs that operated with impunity in this location. While this is true to an extent, players will also realize in due time that this area serves as a base of operations for the Voodoo Boys.

Cyberpunk 2077: Every Ending, Ranked

Cyberpunk 2077 features a wide range of potential endings, but which of them is the best and most fulfilling end to the experience?

Fans of Blade Runner would be surprised to know that this hotel is named after the character Roy Batty. The origami figure in the logo and one of his quotes mentioned on a plaque inside further cement this fact. This is the hotel where players meet Placide and Brigitte for the first time, leading to a shaky partnership.

3 Wild Blue

A Hotel & Spa With The Big Flamingoes Being A Notable Aspect Of This Landmark

Wild Blue in Cyberpunk 2077

  • Dominant Gang: Scavengers
  • Area: Coastview
  • Relevant Quests: None (An Assault in Progress takes place here)

Unlike most of the areas in Pacifica, Wild Blue isn’t a location that is relevant for any questline. The most a player can expect is an Assault in Progress they can complete here, which makes for nothing more than a simple combat encounter.

Still, the amazing visual design present here should definitely be lauded. The Wild Blue Hotel & Spa looks amazing at night, and players can always try to parkour their way to the top of the flamingo’s head at the top of the building if they wish to challenge themselves.

2 Maglev Tunnel

The Voodoo Boys Hideout Located Underneath The Church In Pacifica

Maglev Tunnel in Cyberpunk 2077

  • Dominant Gang: Voodoo Boys
  • Area: Coastview
  • Relevant Quests: Transmission

The Voodoo Boys are known for messing about with the Net, showing a particular interest in the Blackwall. They’ve tried multiple times to breach this firewall with varying levels of success, forming a hideout under the Pacifica Church to make their netrunning activities easier to manage.

It’s here that V finally talks to Alt for the first time, taking the aid of the Voodoo Boys even after being betrayed by them. After their productive chat with Alt, V can either take their revenge on the Voodoo Boys or leave them be. They aren’t presented with this option if they decide to trust the NetWatch agent in the previous mission, who plants a bug that takes out the Netrunners in this base.

1 Pacifica Pier

One Of The Few Beautiful Locations In Pacifica

Pacifica Pier in Cyberpunk 2077

  • Dominant Gang: Tyger Claws
  • Area: Coastview
  • Relevant Quests: Cyberpsycho Sighting: Smoke on the Water

Pacifica is mostly in ruins when V visits this location, showing that perhaps the Night City Police Department could’ve done something here if they’d been serious about enforcing the law here. So, it’s always nice to see that there are still some beautiful locations that players can access here.

The Pacifica Pier is one such location that lets players enjoy a great view of the ocean. It’s too bad that most people will be too busy hunting down a Cyberpsycho here to take in the sights.
