Destiny 2‘s latest episode, Revenant, introduced a new way to grind through tonics, a new story, and a brand new dungeon to dive into. Alongside all of these changes, though, have come some exotics that seem to focus on making Stasis a stronger subclass and a little more viable for higher-tier activities.

Right now, there are 5 new exotics that you can earn, two new weapons, and a new item for each Destiny 2 class. This may change as the episode acts release, as was evident with the final exotic mission to get Choir of One.

Destiny 2: How to Get More Tonic Recipes

Destiny 2’s new Episode brought along a new way to get powerful boosts called tonics, and here’s how you can find more tonic recipes.

Alethonym Grenade Launcher

The main perk of Alethonym is Harvester Spike, which makes kills with the weapon create Vestiges, which you can then collect to activate the weapon’s second perk, Vestigial Alchemy. This perk is interesting because you can choose how to use it. When you’ve collected enough Vestiges to fill the Vestigial Alchemy bar up to 50%, you can use a special reload to give you and your allies a special ammo brick with your next kill. At 100%, you can create a Heavy ammo brick.

Alethonym is in the season pass and is available at rank 1 for players who have the season pass and rank 40 for free-to-play players.

Blastwave Striders Titan Leg Armor

Defeating enemies charges the Blastwave Striders, then you can either deal explosive damage to yourself or slide to rocket-jump backward and spawn projectiles that Spawn Stasis crystals on impact. Your charged rocket jumps grant you Frost Armor and the perk also minimizes the damage you take when you deal explosion damage to yourself.

To unlock the exotic, you need to gain reputation and reach Rank 16 with Master Rahool. Then you’ll gain access to tier 3 decoding where you can choose what exotics you want to drop. You can find the Blastwave Striders in this menu.

Rime-Coat Raiment Warlock Chest Armor

The Rime-Coat Raiment’s perk, Bleak Domain, enhances the range of your Bleak Watcher turret and creates Stasis crystals and Stasis Storm around it. While you stand in the storm, you will gain Icicles and any enemies who are shot from inside the storm are slowed.

Like the Titan Leg Armor, you need to reach Rank 16 with Master Rahool and unlock tier 3 decoding to get the Rime-Coat Raiment. You can increase your reputation with him by opening prime and exotic engrams you pick up while doing various activities.

Mask of Fealty Hunter Helmet

Null Factor, the Mask of Fealty’s perk, causes Withering Blade hits to create small Stasis crystals and refund some melee energy. Using Withering Blade to destroy a Stasis crystal or a frozen enemy will also create an eruption of Withering Blades.

This is the third exotic you can get by increasing your reputation with Master Rahool to Rank 16. Like the previous two, you will then unlock the tier 3 encoding menu, and you can get the Mask of Fealty in this menu once you have an exotic engram to spare.

Icebreaker Sniper Rifle

destiny-2-ice-breaker

Icebreaker is not a new name to those who have been playing since the release of Destiny, and Bungie has now brought it back in Destiny 2‘s Vesper Dungeon. You don’t have to do anything specific to get it, as it’s a random drop, so you just need to run the new dungeon and complete the final encounter until it’s yours.

It works a bit differently from how it did in Destiny, where you could essentially get infinite ammo for it. In the Destiny 2 version, you’ll regenerate ammo for Ice Breaker up to 10 shots when you get kills with other weapons.
