A Rift in Time’s third act finally lets players unlock Jafar as a villager in Gameloft’s Disney Dreamlight Valley. To do this, Dreamers will have to complete his long questline, consisting of six lengthy quests.
For now, Jafar wants to use the Spark of Imagination to control time and rule the world of Eternity Isle. The Mysterious Mickey is Jafar’s first story quest, where the protagonist will need to close some rifts on the Isle to reach his grand palace. How To Complete Mysterious Mickey In Disney Dreamlight Valley
The quest starts right after you launch Disney Dreamlight Valley with the new Act III: Treasures of Time update. You’ll see a cutscene where five weird Time Rifts appear across Eternity Isle. What’s even more concerning is that Mickey is shown stuck between the past and present.
Talk To Merlin And Mickey
First, find Merlin and talk with him. He’ll explain that Jafar’s magic is behind the strange things happening on the isle. The oddest of all is Mickey being stuck in time.
After having a quick chat with Merlin, head over to Mickey and check out what’s going on with him. He will tell you that both he and Eternity Isle seem to be switching between a black-and-white world. Take this surprising news back to Merlin, and he’ll show you a hidden path that leads to Jafar’s palace.
Follow Merlin To A Secret Entrance In Wild Tangle
As you head toward the palace, a huge time rift will block your way. Merlin will explain that Jafar created this rift to prevent anyone from entering his palace, and to get past it, saviors will need to close all the other rifts around the Isle by using their imagination.
Furthermore, he will ask you to seek help from Oswald, who will tell you to make something creative with friends and toss it inside the rifts. So now, you have to get Rapunzel, Gaston, EVE, and Mickey to join your team.
Complete All ‘Use Your Imagination’ Quests
Rapunzel, Gaston, EVE, and Mickey will give you their own Use Your Imagination side-quests. Completing these will end four Time Rifts on Sundial Island, The Wastes, Ancient Ruins, and Ancient Landing.
Return To Merlin And Follow Him To The Secret Entrance
After you’ve closed the rifts, return to Merlin. He’ll take you to the palace’s secret entrance in the Lagoon. Merlin will seal the big rift, and this will finish the quest. After that, you can start the
Palace of Time quest.
