Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince is a monster-taming title by Square Enix where players get to play as the antagonist, Psaro. Psaro’s primary goal is to build a Monster army that is strong enough to usurp his father, the current Monster King. Before he can do this, he must fight enemies throughout the lands of Nadiria and make his party as strong as possible.

Players can equip their Monsters with accessories that have valuable effects in battle. Accessories are items that can be assigned to one Monster at a time, and their main purpose is to boost stats and resistance. Players can either buy or win accessories from wild Monsters after defeating them in battle, but the powerful ones are more challenging to find. Here’s a list of the best accessories to equip and where they can be found in Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince.
5 Raging Ruby
A Jewel to Increase Attack
Raging Ruby is a mid-game jewel that players can equip to increase a Monster’s Atack. Their Attack stat is the overall strength they can put into offensive actions. Players can use a Raging Ruby to give a weaker Monster an edge or make one of their attack Monsters even more formidable.
While there are multiple ways to get a Raging Ruby, such as purchasing it at a shop, they can also be picked up in battle. The Circle of Conquest, Middle Echelon, has several caves around the map. Players will find the Raging Ruby in a cave on the far east of the map, almost directly across from the Dun Maulin bridge. During the spring, a group of sleeping Ursa Major will be there. If players fight them and win, they may drop a Raging Ruby.
4 Mighty Armlet
An Armlet to Increase Attack
The Mighty Armlet is a late-game accessory that boosts Attack stats by over 100 points. Players will need something heavy-duty like this to be able to take on the final bosses. The Mighty Armlet becomes available once players reach the Upper Echelon areas of the Circles.
In the Circle of Temper, Upper Echelon, players will come across a large Stout Troll. It appears in the Ingress Isle section of the map. The Stout Troll is mighty, so it may take players a few tries to defeat it. To make it respawn, fast travel back into the area where it appears in the overworld. It will eventually drop the Mighty Armlet.
3 Meteorite Bracer
A Bracer to Increase Agility
Players can equip a Meteorite Bracer to give their Monsters 110 points in their Agility stat. Agility determines a Monster’s speed and hit/miss calculations in battles. Monsters with high Agility have a better chance of moving first and landing their attacks.

Here is how long it takes to beat Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince’s main storyline and side activities.
Additionally, if a Monster’s Agility is too low, they are more likely to miss their hits, which can be detrimental for obvious reasons. Players will find a Meteorite Bracer in the Circle of Conquest Upper Echelon. A Monster named Tantamount appears there and will drop one when defeated.
2 Sock-it Locket
A Locket to Increase Wisdom
The Sock-it Locket increases its wearer’s Wisdom by 110 points. Wisdom and magic go hand in hand in DQM: The Dark Prince. Wisdom determines how strong a Monster’s magic attacks are. Not all Talents require magic, but the ones that do require Wisdom and Magic Points to land.

The Sock-it Locket is another accessory found later in the game. Players can find one inside the Conqueror’s Keep in the Circle of Conquest Upper Echelon on the 4th floor. Look for a Monster that looks like it’s wearing purple robes called Hocus-Poker. Hocus-Poker appears during any weather and can drop the Sock-It Locket.
1 Earthwyrm’s Eye
An Accessory to Increase Defense
Earthwyrm’s Eye is a late-game accessory players can use to beef up a Monster’s Defense stats by adding 100 extra points. Monsters with a low Defense are going to struggle against hard-hitting attacks and Monsters with traits that allow them to land multiple attacks in a turn. Equipping an Earthwrym’s Eye can help a Monster soak up damage and give them a chance to scout powerful allies.
Players can visit the Circle of Fortitude Upper Echelon for an Earthwyrm’s Eye. When they reach Gate 3, there’s a giant Metal Dragon Monster guarding it. If players fight it and win, there’s a chance it will drop an Earthwyrm’s Eye.
