Infernal Edge |

- The best early-game duospear, this flaming weapon should be every Mystic Spearhand’s go-to goblin-killer until reaching Bakbattahl.
- The constant fire enhancement on Infernal Edge is priceless against many of Dragon’s Dogma 2′‘s early foes. Fire is a weakness for enemies like goblins and ogres.
How to Get Infernal Edge in Dragon’s Dogma 2:
- Infernal Edge is found in the Ancient Battleground, behind the locked door opened with the Ancient Battleground Key.
- Upon arriving at the eastern entrance to the Ancient Battleground, players should meet Oskar automatically, starting the quest ‘Toiled to Rest.’ Players will want to follow Oskar to the Cenotaph, where he will award you will a key for completing the mission. Head just down the hall and look for a door blocked by crates. Clear the door, then use the key to unlock it. Infernal Edge is in a chest inside the room.

Soul of Antiquity |
|
- Soul of Antiquity is a perfect duospear for the earliest sections of DD2‘s mid-game. It is easily acquired, and scales well with Battahl’s weapon enhancements, which focus on Strength.
- In many ways, the fact that Soul of Antiquity does not have any elemental enchantments can be seen as a boon, especially for Arisen who utilize mages in their party. As players reach mid-game, they will begin unlocking more powerful enchantments to use on their party’s weapons. Permanently enchanted weapons do not get the benefits of other enchantments. This is one reason why many of the best duospears in Dragon’s Dogma 2 are not enchanted.
How to Get Soul of Antiquity in Dragon’s Dogma 2:
- Soul of Antiquity is purchased from Awaren’s Arms in Bakbattahl. The cost is 48500 gold.
3 Rhewynt

Rhewynt |
|
- Rhewynt is something of a specialized pick, as there are arguably better duospears available by the time it becomes available in DD2’s Unmoored World. However, for those Arisen utilizing ice builds, which works well against a shocking number of enemies, this duospear can be incredibly deadly.
- Pair this duospear with anything that boosts Magick, such as the Ring of Percipience. This build really emphasizes magick over physical when considering the best weapons for Mystic Spearhands.
- Consider creating a build around Rhewynt in NG+.
How to Get Rhewynt in Dragon’s Dogma 2:
- Rhewynt can only be found after entering the Unmoored World, which is the secret area that leads to the true ending of Dragon’s Dogma 2. Once in this section of the game, players will find this duospear at any merchant that sells a variety of weapons. This means places like Awaren’s Arms in Bakbatthal, and Roderick’s Smithy in Vernworth. The cost is 68,500 gold.

Dead Ringer |
|
- For many players, Dead Ringer will be the best duospear in Dragon’s Dogma 2. This is largely due to the fact that, if players can best a fairly difficult challenge, it can be acquired long before what is generally considered the better duospear in Lindworm Fang.
- Despite what its raw base stats state, Dead Ringer scales well with the players increasing Strength stat. It does very high amounts of Physical and Magick damage, with both capable of reaching the 800’s, depending on enhancements.
How to Get Dead Ringer in Dragon’s Dogma 2:
- Players can get Dead Ringer essentially anytime after entering Battahl, though the challenge is fairly difficult. Players will have to enter Wyrmsblood Forest in the southwest region of the map, and scale a mountain to reach Dragonsbreath Tower. Here, players will find Sigurd waiting, ready to ask for help with a Lesser Dragon. Dead Ringer is the reward for killing the lesser dragon at the top of the tower.
- Later, Dead Ringer will be available for purchase Volcanic Island Armory for 56,000 gold. During the Unmoored World section, the blacksmiths in the two main cities will also have them for sale, as well as Brokkr and Gautstafr.
If players have not unlocked it already, it is possible to unlock the Mystic Spearhand at this location simply by speaking with Sigurd.
1 Lindworm Fang

Lindworm Fang |
|
- The Lindworm Fang duospear is DD2‘s best duospear. The upper limit for damage is higher than any other in the game. Unfortunately, it is only available once players enter the Unmoored World, and can only be purchased with Wyrmslife Crystals.
- Lindworm Fang is essentially an upgraded version of Dead Ringer. Because it is unenchanted, it can be boosted with any type of elemental magic, making it extremely versatile. When fully enhanced, this duospear can hit the 1000 damage mark.
- Even if it is not used for long, it is worth acquiring Lindworm Fang in the Unmoored World, as players will find it extremely useful in NG+.
How to Get Lindworm Fang in Dragon’s Dogma 2:
- Lindworm Fang is purchased from the Dragondforged, first at the Bay Wayside Shrine, then at the Seafloor Shrine after he moves. This happens during the course of a main mission, so it is hard to miss.
- The best Mystic Spearhand duospear will cost players 110 WLC.
