Dungeons of Hinterberg: Minecart Workshop Walkthrough

Upon entering the Minecart Workshop, players should descend the stairs and get in the mine cart that is sitting upright on a track. Fans of indie games will then be whisked away to a room in which they must defeat several enemies.

Once the foes have been slain, players should climb the ramp in the room, send a Wrecking Ball down that ramp, and pass through the gate that opens when the Wrecking Ball reaches the yellow button at the bottom. Fans of adventure games can then jump in the mine cart beyond the newly-opened gate to reach a room with yet another combat encounter.

With the enemies defeated, players should use the handhold on the side of the wooden ramp to climb to a series of ladders. There is a chest at the top of those ladders, and it holds a Small HP Potion.

Players should now climb down the two ladders that they just ascended and jump across a small gap to reach a ledge with a white line. Fans of Zelda-like games should use the handholds on the scaffolding that are beyond that ledge to reach a hallway that leads to a Waystone and a mine cart, which they should ride.

When the mine cart comes to a stop, players should dispatch the enemies and enter the cage in the corner of the room. There is a chest in that cage, and it holds 1,000 HBs.

Players can now exit the room to reach an area that is filled with metal platforms, some of which have colorful shapes and tracks upon them. This area is the site of the Minecart Workshop’s most-complicated puzzle, and here is how to solve it:

  1. Stand to the right of the first green shape, throw a Ball & Chain into its orb, and retract it.
  2. Stand to the left of the first blue shape, throw a Ball & Chain into its orb, and retract it.
  3. Stand to the right of the the second green shape, throw a Ball & Chain into its orb, and retract it.
  4. Walk across the second green shape and the second blue shape to reach a chest, which holds Coin: Minecart Workshop.
  5. Stand to the right of the second yellow shape, throw a Ball & Chain into its orb, and retract it.
  6. Stand to the right of the first green shape, throw a Ball & Chain into its orb, and retract it.
  7. Get in the mine cart.

At the end of the mine cart ride, players must simply ascend two flights of stairs and complete a combat encounter. Fans of games with unique art styles will then be free to open a nearby chest, which holds an AC Damage Up Charm; interact with the Stamp Station; and complete the Minecart Workshop dungeon.
