5 FromSoftware Games With The Most Boss Fights

FromSoftware has built their reputation around fantastic boss fights, so it’s only fair to ask which of their games features the most boss fights.

Ever since they created the genre, FromSoft has never provided an option to refight these amazing bosses whenever players want. The only time players have a chance to refight bosses is either in a New Game+ playthrough, by making a new save file, or by getting summoned into another player’s world.

Unlike Sekiro, where players can replay boss memories, and Dark Souls 2, where players can utilize the Bonfire Ascetic, the option to re-fight bosses is not available in Elden Ring. However, there are plenty of mods that allow players to hone their skills against their favorite boss opponent as many times as they want. This list helps players to find the best mods to use if they wish to refight bosses in Elden Ring.

7 Convergence Mod

Refight Bosses With A Mod That Re-Imagines Elden Ring

A Tarnished battling Malenia in her second phase

The Convergence is an overhaul mod which mainly adds new spells, weapons, enemies, and bosses to the game. It thoroughly revamps the structure of Elden Ring and, with all the added content, it creates a new version of the game never seen before.

Along with all the new content, the Convergence mod has a feature of boss resurrection for players to enjoy repeat boss fights whenever they want. To unlock this feature, players have to kill the first boss, after which a circle of statues will appear for all bosses in the game.

Whenever a boss is defeated, the option to resurrect the boss becomes available by interacting with the statue at the Table of Lost Grace. The boss resurrection feature of the Convergence mod further extends the replayability of the game by allowing players to enjoy the fights at any time they want.

6 Elden Ring Reforged

Relive Majestic Battles

Elden Ring Reforged revises the game and adds new game mechanics like the deflect system or the FP Regen System. Much like the Convergence mod, Elden Ring Reforged does things similarly to revive dead bosses for another battle. Players can replay boss fights without going into NG+ by visiting the Table of Lost Grace. While resting at the designated spot, players can find the option to resurrect the bosses they have already defeated.

By engaging in events in Fallout 76, players can encounter powerful bosses that drop useful rewards.

The Reforged mod also adds a difficulty system to the game and, with the option to refight bosses anytime, Elden Ring veterans can try out the same boss battles with higher stakes over and over again.

5 Boss Rush

Back To Back Boss Fights

Radahn

Taking a different approach for a rematch with the bosses, the Boss Rush mod presents a fresh set of challenges for players. Each Boss Rush Challenge has multiple objectives in it where players have to fight a collection of bosses in a row. In order to complete the challenge, players have to kill all the bosses consecutively.

These challenges are carefully planned out and, for players who are overly familiar with Elden Ring, they offer a new way to face down the game’s toughest challenges. Players just have to travel to Roundtable Hold near the Colosseum statue where Queen Mask Leia awaits them to accept the brutal challenges in this mod.

4 Boss Arena

Hone Your Skills Against The Best

A Tarnished battling Godfrey

Refighting the bosses in Elden Ring is one of the best ways for players to hone their skills in a short span of time, and there is no better way to do this than by using a mod. The Boss Arena mod takes all the base game bosses, and most of the DLC bosses, and puts them together for players to fight against them anytime they want. The mod also rescales the enemy stats so that the DLC boss’ damage scales in accordance with the base game stat curve, ensuring Scadutree Blessings don’t play a role in the player’s success. If players don’t like the new balancing provided by the mod, they can change it back to the default setup as well.

Players can access all the enemies in the game, from lesser enemies to Demigods and Gods, whenever they want from the Roundtable Hold. Here, they also has every NPC required to get going q uickly in the game. This mod makes for easy practice for players to hone their skills or test out different weapons and builds anytime they like.

3 Boss Resurrection

The Boss Resurrection mod is a simple mod that adds the ability to resurrect bosses and teleport to them quickly so that players can fight them anytime. The resurrection list can be seen under the “Boss Resurrection” option in the top level menu.

Hardest Ranked Modes In Online Games

Quite a few multiplayer games have tough-as-nails ranked modes that make players work hard to reach the top of the hill.

All the bosses in the mod are split into their respective geographical areas. The field bosses are also under their regional location name. When players select any boss from the menu, the mod tells them the status of the boss. If a boss is dead, then players can resurrect them. This mod has two versions. In the Lite version, players can resurrect the boss, but must still travel to its arena, while in the normal version of the mod, players can teleport to the location where the boss fight takes place immediately.

2 Elden Ring Item And Enemy Randomizer

What If Every Enemy In The Game Is A Boss?

The work of this mod is to mainly randomize the placement of enemies and bosses throughout the game, which makes things interesting for veteran Elden Ring players. However, players can utilize this mod to refight bosses in a unique way.

The Item and Enemy Randomizer mod can be used in a way that it replaces all the enemies in the game with bosses. This means that every enemy faced will be a boss fight. However, to keep things under control, the HP of the bosses in the open-world areas of the game remains the same as the enemy that they replace. Still, facing Radahn and Margit in confined spaces or casually watching Malenia strolling about Limgrave, makes for a daunting gameplay experience. The refights might be random, but they are nowhere near easy.

1 Boss Rematch

Prepare Yourself For Round 2

Boss Rematch is the simplest mod on this list for refighting bosses in Elden Ring. In order to replay boss fights, players need to burn the Erdtree and travel to East Capital Rampart Grace. If the players have burned it, they must then teleport to the Erdtree Sanctuary Grace, which will place them in the arena.

However, players can only fight a limited number of bosses in the Lyndell Colosseum PvP arena. The mod limits some of the boss fights too. Ash summons don’t work when fighting Rennala, and when fighting Godrick, players can only face his second phase. Despite these drawbacks, Boss Rematch is a decent mod that does its job to a certain extent, allowing players to have a rematch against their favorite bosses in the Grand Colosseum.
