The amount of new content that Elden Ring’sShadow of the Erdtree DLC adds to the game is, quite frankly, staggering. There are over a hundred new weapons alone, and as far as Armor Sets are concerned there are about 30 new complete sets to find. The method for finding these Armor Sets varies depending on the set of course, with some being found in pieces, some found altogether on bodies, and some as random drops from certain enemies.

The Ascetics Armor Set is basically a light set, and the resistances it gives outside of the Loincloth are pretty minimal. Of course, it’s better than wearing nothing and the bonus Dexterity on the Curseblade Mask is fantastic especially since the downside is pretty small.
And, with all the new fist, claw, and martial art weapons in this DLC, the Blue Dancer Charm Talisman has never been more viable, with this set being a great option to use with said Talisman so that you can get the benefit of the Blue Dancer Charm without giving up on that classic Soulsgame fashion.
Where To Obtain The Ascetic’s Armor Set
It’s Pretty Obvious, Actually
So the answer to this question is pretty simple, from the very same enemies that are wearing this Armor Set. As it turns out, the Ascetic Set is a random drop from the Curseblade enemies themselves, though we aren’t sure what the exact drop chances are. There are plenty of places where you can easily farm for this Armor Set too, such as the Site of Grace directly outside of the Dancing Lion’s arena (just head down the stairs behind the Grace) or even the Curseblades that jump down from the burial statues in the Gravesite Plains.
Additionally, you can also use items such as a Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot, a Silver Horn Tender, and the Silver Scarab Talisman to buff your Item Discovery temporarily. And if that’s not enough you can put more points into the Arcane stat as this does have a very noticeable effect on your Item Discovery. All-in-all, it’s not exactly difficult to get this Armor Set, but it will involve fighting at least a handful of these Curseblade enemies, and that’s painful to even think about considering how rough these guys are to take down.
