Quick Links

Elden Ring gives players hundreds of weapons to choose from when making their build. There are many weapons that fit into each of the major stats like dexterity, giving players many options no matter how they choose to build their character.

Many weapons throughout the game are much more rare, as they are only dropped by the enemies wielding them. Not all enemies drop their weapons, but those that do tend to drop some unique-looking weapons. One enemy drop weapon is the Forked Greatsword ; here’s where to farm one easily.

Players who love exploring in Elden Ring may want to consider the following Talismans before they set out across the Lands Between.

Where To Get The Forked Greatsword

The Forked Greatsword is dropped from an imp that wields the weapon. Imps are the common enemy found in Catacomb dungeons throughout the Lands Between, but there are a few variations of imps with each dropping whatever weapon they are wielding. The Forked Greatsword is easy to spot thanks to its fork on the end and otherwise large size to be carried by an imp.

The best place to farm this weapon is the Road’s End Catacombs, found along the left side of Liurnia Of The Lakes. The best farming method is to rest at the Site of Grace at the entrance of the dungeon, kill the imp at the bottom of the stairs, and run back to rest at the Site of Grace to respawn the imp. This makes for a fast method of only killing imps that may drop the weapon and can help players take advantage of an item discovery-boosting item. Silver-Pickled Fowl Feet temporarily boosts item discovery, and can greatly speed up the process of trying to get this weapon.

Forked Greatsword Stat Overview

The Forked Greatsword In The Inventory

Requirements

Base Stat Scaling

  • Strength – 14
  • Dexterity – 16

  • Causes blood loss buildup (55)

Overall, this weapon doesn’t deal the most damage or scale heavily off of any one stat. Despite this, this weapon does offer one of the higher bleed build-ups of any weapon in the game. While other weapons will outclass it in damage later on, this weapon can be obtained fairly early into the game right after clearing Stormveil Castle.

This weapon naturally comes with the skill Stamp (Upward Cut) but can be modified with an ash of war to change which stats it scales with and give it a new skill. This weapon does seem small in the hands of an imp, and doesn’t have the longest range of a greatsword, but is an overall worthwhile intermediate bleed weapon for earlier sections in the game.
