Like the Scavenger Matron, Fell Wispwyvern is another boss in Enshrouded. Defeating it lets players obtain the Fell Wispwyvern Head, an essential ingredient to upgrade their Flame Altar to level 4. This will allow players to explore the map further without taking significant damage from the intense Shroud that the latter parts of the map inflict.

However, the Fell Wispwyvern is considered one of the most challenging bosses in the game, especially since players encounter it during the early stages. With the ability to deal significant damage through its ice and jump attacks and assembling reinforcements, this monster is nothing less than deadly. Here’s how to handle it.

Mortar is an important piece of equipment for the Alchemist in Enshrouded. If you are looking for a way to get hands on it, take a look at this guide.

Where is the Fell Wispwyvern Boss Located?

The Fell Wispwyvern boss is present in Pikemead’s Reach, located on the northeastern part of the map. Players can glide from ‘Ancient Spire, Revelwood Fast Travel’ towards the northeast side, reaching Huckster Square, located south of the Imperial Gardens.

Once players reach Huckster Square, they can continue maneuvering towards the north. However, a noteworthy point here is that the place is crawling with enemies who will do anything to stop the players from reaching the Imperial Garden’s entrance, so it’s vital to be equipped with the right build!

During their passage, players will also be able to spot two elixir wells that are joined together. Choosing to destroy them will result in extra skill points and a Legendary Undergrowth Staff. Upon completing these tasks successfully, players will reach the entrance of the Imperial Gardens.

Here, they could spot a castle with a large door in the middle. Although the large doors aren’t of use, on the left-hand side, there is a grappling hook. Using that grappling hook will result in players going towards the upper portion of the castle into a small room with stairs. Continuing along the pathway will lead players to a spacious area where they’ll encounter the Fell Wispwyvern Boss.

How to Beat the Fell Wispwyvern Boss

The Fell Wispwyvern is equipped with numerous attack combos, which include:

Jump Attack

The dragon jumps high towards the player to deal significant damage.

Tail Attack

The Fell Wispwyvern smashes its tail on the players to stun them and deal sufficient damage.

Flame Attack

The dragon breathes blue-colored flame that can pass through any object.

Breathe Attack

The dragon comes near the players and lets out a blue flame from its mouth that spreads across a wide area. This significantly slows and damages the players.

Reinforcements

The Fell Wispwyvern can call for reinforcements to help it defeat the players.

The best bet to beat this mighty boss is to target the boss’s mouth while it calls for reinforcements. Doing so will stun the boss for 10 seconds, leaving players with ample time to inflict some damage. Players can use melee and long-range builds to defeat this monster, and considering the wide range of combat moves, it’s best to move and dodge-roll constantly during the fight. A game-changer here would be using suitable consumables, such as:

  • Popcorn: +7 Stamina Recharge
  • Grilled Game: +3 Constitution
  • Hazelnut: +3 Strength

Players must also equip themselves with healing potions, spells, and Elixir for an additional buff, which can make it much easier to survive the encounter.
