Crusader Pistols don’t just drop randomly from enemies. They aren’t handed out as quest rewards either. To get one, you’ll need to unlock the weapon’s plans and craft one yourself. You can get the plans by either farming Daily Ops or by checking Minerva’s store whenever she’s set up shop in the wasteland.

If you’re going down the Daily Ops route, keep in mind that this will take a lot of time and effort. You get more rewards if you finish the mission within eight minutes, so get a good Fallout 76 build going, find some friends, and finish those runs as quickly as possible. You have a random chance of getting Crusader Pistol plans with every Daily Ops mission you complete, though you only have one shot per day at this.

Minerva’s store is the most reliable way to get the Crusader Pistol plans, assuming you have enough Gold Buillion on hand. She has a different set of item plans for sale every time she appears, and they are always at a 25% discount. Thankfully, her inventory stock is predictable, and the Fallout Builds website has a tracker of where she is, where she’s going to be, when she’s going to appear, and what she’s going to have for sale.

The Crusader Pistol has access to the standard sights, barrels, and magazine mods. What makes this gun stand out is its receiver options — the pistol can be fitted to deal Fire, Cryo, or Energy damage. It can even be modded to use 5.56 ammunition.
