He will speak to Cloud and ask him to undergo the Preliminary Trials. There are a total of four Preliminary Trials that players must complete before they can move on to the next level.

Preliminary Trial: Aerial Specimens

This is the first and easiest trial. Players don’t need to form any kind of elaborate strategy for this. The enemies can be defeated with the help of regular attacks. The reward for clearing this trial is a Giga-Potion

Preliminary Trial: Ruthless Specimens

For the next trial, players should use Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith. The Adjudicator will be the most problematic out of the three. If you pressure it using physical attacks, it won’t take any damage from them. When it happens, switch to Aerith and use her attacks to fill up the gauge and stagger it.

Preliminary Trial: Comparable Specimens

In this trial, players will not only have to beat enemies within a certain time period, but they will also have to stagger all three enemies. Players should target Yin & Yan and stagger it first. Next, shift your focus to the other enemies and slowly build stagger.

Preliminary Trial: Bioselected Specimens

This is the fourth Preliminary Trial, and in this one, players will have to bring down a Yin & Yan and an Adjudicator. To build up stagger quickly, players should switch to Tifa. Upon completion of this trial, players can move on to the next area.

How To Beat Dranabarga

After entering the subsequent room, players will learn that the source of the voice is a Dranabarga. This particular fiend is weak to ice, so make sure to use abilities and spells that have the same elemental nature. Also, try to avoid attacking its rear, as it does not take any damage.
