Nor has three armor slots players can use in Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn: Helmets, Pauldrons, and Gauntlets. There are various armor sets that players can find the pieces of, and there is no restriction on how to mix and match each armor type.

Despite being armor, equipping a piece of armor will give Nor a boost depending on what is equipped, with these bonuses ranging from increased damage to fast bullet charging. Wearing two pieces of the same armor type also gives an Armor Synergy Bonus on top of the benefits from the individual armor sets. The first armor set players can complete is the Sapper’s set; here’s where to find every piece.

Where To Get The Sapper’s Helmet

The Sapper Helmet In The Inventory

This will be the first armor piece players unlock and is earned during the Battle Hardened quest in Three Peaks. After clearing the Hamlet, players will be tasked with destroying the various bandit flags still hanging around. Destroying all of them and completing the quest will give players the helmet.

Where To Get The Sapper’s Gauntlet

The Sapper’s Gauntlet is the reward for completing the Peacekeepers quest in the Gavel Gate hamlet. This hamlet is optional but can be reached early on as long as players know where to look. The Gavel Gate itself will be locked, but players can look off to the right and use their double jump and Rifts Vortexs to jump to the far mountain and then to the other side of the gate. After clearing the Hamlet, accept the Peacekeepers quest from the Coffee Shop to begin.

Where To Get The Sapper’s Pauldron

  • When a black powder charge is filled, a 3-meter shockwave will push enemies back 5 meters.

The Sapper’s Pauldron is found in the Workyard, right after the Black Powder Factory traveled through during the Powder And Steel main quest. After reaching the top of the factory and running through the courtyard to the back gate, you’ll see the tunnel forward with three Rift Vortex along the inside. Jump to the furthest Rift Vortex and look to the right to see a room with a chest. Be warned as there is an exploding enemy that will need to be shot before approaching.

The Synergy Bonus for wearing at least two of these armor pieces is a 33.3% increase in black powder that is charged. There is no benefit for wearing the third armor piece after the Synergy Bonus is active.
