Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 has several types of quests that players can complete in order to increase their season level and unlock more Battle Pass rewards. There are Jumpstart Quests that allow gamers to get to know the basics of the game and newly introduced mechanics; there are Weekly Quests, which are released every Tuesday and stay around until the end of the season; and lastly, there are Milestone Quests that are meant to be completed naturally as players enjoy the season.

Fortnite: When Does Chapter 5 Season 3 End?
With the release of Fortnite’s newest Battle Royale update, Chapter 5 Season 3, players already have an end date to prepare for what awaits them next.
This guide will focus on the Milestone Quests added to Fortnite with the release of Chapter 5 Season 3, and gamers will also be able to learn how many XP they’ll earn for completing them.
Chapter 5 Season 3 Milestone Quests
There are 10 different Milestone Quests in Fortnite, and they all have 20 stages, which means players have to repeat the quest 20 times throughout the season in order to extract as much XP from it as possible.
Players will most likely complete many Milestone Quest stages as they play the game since many of these tasks can easily be done without even trying as they are part of the standard Battle Royale gameplay. Nevertheless, here are all Chapter 5 Season 3 Milestone Quests and how to complete them:
Milestone Quest |
How to complete |
---|---|
Thank the bus driver (10) |
Fans can thank the bus driver once per match. To do this, they have to press the Emote Wheel button before leaving the Battle Bus. |
Eliminate enemy players (25) |
This quest requires players to take down a large number of enemies, so they should attempt to get it done in a large team mode, such as Team Rumble. Here, they will find lots of players, and everyone keeps respawning, making it much easier to stack up eliminations. |
Damage opponents (5,000) |
Since this quest doesn’t specify what type of opponents players have to damage, they can complete it by damaging players as well as hostile NPCs on the map. |
Complete Daily Quests (6) |
Each time they enter a match, players will receive three Match Quests. They must complete six Match Quests in order to complete each stage of this Milestone Quest. |
Travel distance in a vehicle (5,000) |
To complete this quest, gamers only have to move on the Battle Royale island. The fastest way to do it is by finding a Whiplash and taking it for a ride. |
Outlast players (750) |
Every time an enemy is eliminated while the player remains alive, it’ll count towards this challenge. Since Battle Royale games can have up to 100 players, fans can outlast a maximum of 99 players per match. Gamers now need to outlast 750 players instead of 500 to complete each stage of this Milestone Quest. |
Survive Storm Circles (25) |
The Storm Circle will appear and start closing a couple of minutes later. If players make it out alive after a Storm Circle has fully closed, it’ll count toward quest progress. |
Acquire accolades (50) |
Gamers will earn accolades by completing certain in-game accomplishments, such as reaching Top 10, defeating a boss, being the first player to land, and many more. |
Collect or spend bars (1,000) |
The best way to collect bars in Fortnite is to eliminate players, complete SHADOW briefings, break into vaults, and open safes or cash registers. To spend bars, players should talk to NPCs and purchase their services or interact with the vending machines scattered around the map. |
Complete SHADOW briefings (3) |
Gamers will find all sorts of SHADOW briefings on the map. Each one of these job boards will give the player a specific sort of quest, and they can complete them to earn valuable items and gold. |
Milestone Quests Rewards
While last season there were only eight Milestone Quests for players to complete, this time around, gamers get access to two additional quests. As mentioned before, to fully complete a Milestone Quest, fans have to finish all 20 of its stages, and each stage is worth 5,000 XP. In total, gamers who clear out the Milestone Quests page will receive 1,000,000 XP, which is 12.5 full levels.
Unfortunately, Milestone Quests continue to not have any Bonus Goal Rewards, so it has gotten harder to earn XP and complete the Battle Pass in Fortnite. Even though this is still a great way to boost one’s season level, the XP gamers have been able to acquire from quests has been significantly nerfed in the past couple of seasons.
