Fortnite continues to expand its impressive library of vehicles and outfits for players to wear in the ever-customizable game modes of Battle Royale and beyond. One of the latest outfits and vehicle bodies comes from the Lockjaw Starter Quest Pack, which may cost real currency, but has a variety of goodies that will see players unlock Cinder and her infamous Lockjaw vehicle.

How to Get Cinder and the Lockjaw Car

If players want to add Cinder and the Lockjaw vehicle body to their lockers, then they will need to spend $9.99 (USD) on the Lockjaw Starter Quest Pack. This pack can be found as players head into Fortnite, navigate to the Shop page, and head down the pages to the collection of bundles that are purchased for real money and not V-Bucks. Another way that players can purchase this pack is by heading to the digital storefronts of their console or the Epic Games launcher and purchasing it from the Fortnite page. After purchase, players will immediately unlock Cinder and the Lockjaw Vehicle Body, but they have a certain amount of quests to complete if they want further edit styles.

The Lockjaw Starter Quest Pack is only available until October 1, 7 AM UTC. Whilst Fortnite have confirmed that this pack may become available in the future, not many packs have returned, especially those with their own quests, so it’s up to players if they want to risk it. It’s also worth noting that the Lockjaw Starter Quest Pack is not eligible for a return through the Fortnite Cancel Purchase or Return Tickets, but players might be able to get a refund through their platform of purchase.

All Lockjaw Starter Quests (Del Mar Schedule)

After purchasing the Lockjaw Starter Quest Pack, players can head out of the Shop and through the lobby screen tabs to select Quests, where they will be able to scroll through and see their Lockjaw-specific quests. All of these quests must be completed in Rocket Racing, but they are extremely easy and not competitive, allowing everyone to unlock the rewards. If players have the Lockjaw Starter Quests Pack but have yet to finish the quests, all quests will be auto-completed on or around October 1, 2025, but that’s quite far away. Completing all Lockjaw Starter Quests will reward players with 3 new decals, 2 new wheels, and a new style for Cinder. To complete the quests, simply completing tracks in Rocket Racing regardless of finishing place will grant progress.

All Lockjaw Starter Quest Pack Items

Upon immediate purchase of the Lockjaw Starter Quest Pack, players will be rewarded with the 7 following items:

  • Lockjaw (Vehicle Body)
  • Cinder (Outfit)
  • LEGO Cinder (LEGO Style)
  • Flames (Decal)
  • Lightning (Decal)
  • Stripes (Decal)
  • Wings (Decal)

The reward that may interest players the most is the Lockjaw vehicle, as this Car Body is easily able to stir up trouble in Battle Royale for its unique appearance that looks like a boss car during Chapter 5 Season 3. This vehicle seats 2, and when players make it their custom vehicle, they can roam the Battle Royale map to scare other players with the appearance of one of the 3 OP boss cars found in the game. However, this is just a cosmetic, and players won’t actually be granted any advantage. It is worth noting that the Lockjaw does have a smaller hitbox due to the size of the windows, so some players might be able to see an advantage from the higher defense made available.

Another great bonus for purchasing this bundle is the Cinder skin, which features a racer who can’t wait to get to Inferno Island. Cinder is a great bonus for those who want the Lockjaw vehicle, as her outfit is definitely the more unique one outside of the collabs that feature in Fortnite. Her glowing lava-infused hair and her buff arms prove that she’s one to win a Battle Royale match with or one to celebrate a victory in Rocket Racing.
