A new Fortnite leak seemingly confirms the return of Iron Man. This Marvel legend is a highly-requested skin in Fortnite‘s ever-expanding collection of characters, with a recent update indicating the game is set to undergo yet another Marvel takeover sometime soon.

Players are currently exploring Fortnite‘s Chapter 5 Season 3 content update, which transformed the colorful battle royale into a Mad Max-esque wasteland. This season places a large emphasis on vehicle combat and map traversal, giving players some incredibly cool tools like the Nitro Fists to use and try out. Like always, Fortnite‘s latest Battle Pass includes several brand-new characters, as well as a few skins that will be familiar to fans of Bethesda’s Fallout franchise. Halfway through Chapter 5 Season 3’s Battle Pass, players will find the T-60 Power Armor. There’s plenty of room for other collaborations to take place this season as well, with a recent leak seemingly confirming the return of a legendary Marvel hero.

According to Fortnite leaker Shiina, Epic Games recently added an Iron Man solar panel back into the game files. While this is by no means an official confirmation that Iron Man is making his return to Fortnite, it certainly indicates developers intend to offer players some Marvel-themed goodies in the near future. Iron Man made his Fortnite debut in August 2020 during the game’s Chapter 2 Season 4 update and the skin was somewhat controversial, being locked behind that season’s Battle Pass.

Other recent Fortnite collaborations have included several iconic Marvel characters, like a variant of Loki as featured in the original Disney+ series of the same name. Fortnite also features several other classic Avengers characters, like Spider-Man, Hulk, and Black Widow. Thanks to Fortnite‘s near-endless list of collaborations, players have access to an unprecedented number of characters to play as. Fortnite‘s collection of skins ranges from gaming legends like Halo‘s Master Chief to the Doomslayer from Doom. Other notable collaborations include Geralt of Rivia from the Witcher series as well as Korra from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Many of Fortnite‘s skins are included in each season’s Battle Pass, but plenty of skins can be purchased separately in the in-game item shop.

Alongside new characters and skins, Epic Games also strives to provide Fortnite players with exciting gameplay updates and improvements on a consistent basis. Epic Games fundamentally shook up the Fortnite formula late last year with the addition of LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival, three new game modes that offered an unprecedented new level of freedom and exploration for fans of Fortnite.
